Agreed…we don’t need to be starting that 4 games in. I know I’ve expressed my frustrations during these first few games but that’s very premature and not necessary. Yes, we have some serious issues in the early season…but I’m hopeful Woodson gets it figured out. For today…Get focused, play hard and beat the hell out of Louisville today!

Yikes! If this doesn’t scream wake up call to Woodson and staff then I don’t know what will. Everyone recognizes the extreme poor play on the perimeter due to offensive scheme and lack of shooters/explosiveness.

I honestly would have some hope if I felt Woodson would make some changes, including on the offensive end but he’s proven time and time again that he’s not capable of making the changes everyone else sees.

Guard play will bite us in the ass all season! We all saw this coming…except the staff.

Whats your thoughts on why Leal doesn’t get playing time even in scrap minutes? I for one, would rather play Leal over Walker.

Mgbako holds the key. He and to a lesser degree Ware, are the two guys who I feel can make significant leaps in their play as the season goes on. If they do, we stand a fighting chance…if not, then yikes

Exactly. It’s called being SOFT! I don’t mince my words. I bleed crimson and cream and am very passionate and it’s been a tough 20 years sans a couple of years. ..which is why I probably come across more negative. There hasn’t been many bright spots to root for. Sadly, this year is pointing towards another disappointment.

Answer is no. Maybe it changes…maybe not. People were quick to anoint Woodson as the savior? And for what reason? I have no idea. We lost in the 2nd round with the best player in the country last year and who by the way was an Archie recruit!

Honestly, X was awful this game

Games are won and lost before a game is even played. In this team’s case, it’s magnified and we’re seeing it unfold before our very eyes…perimeter play was not addressed at all during the off season. Guards or shooters weren’t a focus so we grabbed an Anthony Walker or a Payton Sparks! And we’re still getting smoked on the boards. So frustrating. Perimeter play is what wins games…we don’t have it. I could’ve sworn Woodson was going to a more guard oriented play once TJD left…seems like he’s doubled down on the opposite with less talent.
