Been Outscored by 21 points from the 3 point line. That cannot happen in modern day basketball. Year after year…it amazes me we can’t find a bona fide shooter

Long ways to go...I think Banks has further to go. Lets not sugar coat this (not you specifically) but the progression of Banks and Gunn are imperative for this team. I for one, am counting on at least 1 to make a significant sophmore leap...however, forgive me if I'm a little unsure of both. We've seen marginal sophmore jumps from several players in the past whom are now at different programs. Right now, I trust freshman Cupps more than these two to make the right play. Lets see what happens but I will be rooting tremendously for both to have an outstanding year.

Good first test. FGCU is not a typical first game of the season opponent. They're tough and Chambers is a good coach. With that said, expecting a 15-20 point win. Woodson and the guys will be focused.

Quite frankly, we haven't converted many open shots for the better part of a decade now and unfortunately, I'm not sure this year is going to be much different. I think the shooting (specifically free throws and 3 point shooting) will be a glaring issue much like we've seen in recent memory. A Dalton Knecht would've slid in nicely for this team...Regardless, no sense of wondering about "what ifs." We'll see what happens.

Galloway disappointed. I think Galloway is what he is. Plays tough D, low volume shooter…etc. I’m not sure we’re going to see a major jump in his play. He’ll make some good plays. I’ve always viewed Galloway as a 6th or 7th man on a really good team… As others have mentioned, the shooting and lack of 3 point attempts is concerning. I watched the game from start to finish. We need to improve a lot…good teams would whip us based on the play today. Luckily we have an another exhibition to hopefully fine tune ourselves more…

Obviously a better 2nd half after an abysmal 1st half but expected more. We need to be tougher and my concern with this year's team is we're 1 or 2 shooter's short if some of our 2nd year players don't make bigger strides. Free throw shooting and 3 point scoring could be a consistent theme this year regarding needing improvement (much like prior years). On a positive note, Mgbako looked real aggressive in the 2nd half and Cupps played very sound defense.

Understand this is the first game of an exhibition but I expected a lot more. This was down right bad and somewhat concerning. Lets see how the 2nd half plays out but we have a tremendous amount to work on. OH, and we look like we lack toughness.

He was a very good player. Tough and an excellent rebounder for his height, as I recall.

Certainly understand…and agree about not listening to the police. Again, suspect CMW will use this as a teaching moment and Mack will learn and come out better for it.

I agree, but there could very well me more to it. We need to keep in mind It’s the Taco Bell on Walnut. I went there when I was a student. If any poster is not familiar with the particular Taco Bell on Walnut, I would encourage you to read their reviews. I would be really surprised if Mack just decided to be rude to these employees.
