No doubt. Just saying one win over UNC won’t return AH to the home court advantage it once was. As IHF said it will probably take a couple seasons to send the message to fans, opposing teams and possibly most importantly, referees. We need to get to Kohl’s Center level where it’s a shock to win there

Unfortunately, a win over UNC won't be nearly enough. In 2016, IU beat then No. 3 UNC in the B1G/ACC challenge in AH. That season, the Hoosiers finished 18-16, losing four games in AH (including to NEB) and Crean was fired. They also had a neutral court win over Kansas that year.

USC and UCLA to the Big Ten ?
13th&Jackson replied to IU Scott's topic in General Basketball Discussion
IU got a top knotch School of Global and International Studies. “The $53 million building was funded entirely through university sources,” the release read, “with half of the funding coming from IU's Big Ten Network revenues, representing the largest-ever commitment from IU Athletics revenue to support the core academic mission of the university.” -
Actually, it sounds like she did have support from the AD at the time. Dr. Trayvean Scott, Grambling State's vice president for intercollegiate athletics, said in the statement that student-athletes who received scholarships for the upcoming season will keep them and remain on the team. Scott initially offered his support of Lucas' decision, saying at the time: "Just as the transfer portal empowers student-athletes, our coaches are also empowered to make the decisions they deem necessary to advance their programs."

Calipari has made the same comment about KY: One thing Rosemond says he has learned — not every kid is cut out for the bright lights and big stage at a program with a passionate fan base like IU. That revelation has shaped the way he evaluates prospects on the recruiting trail. “Not everybody can play here,” Rosemond said. “Even guys that are really, really talented, they can’t play here. So even now in recruiting, I’m looking for guys that can play in this bubble.”

Hopefully that is true, but the jury is still out on CTA as a head coach without DeBoer and Wommack. We know CTA is a good motivator and a good DC. Bottom line is, he’s 26-32. He was 25-12 at Ben Davis. Still much to be proven.

I don't answer the phone when Cindy Simon Skjodt calls and asks for her $40 million back. Those were the most expensive bathrooms since the Roman Empire.

They probably figure WI, IA & MI have that market covered (plus if ND would join). IL is kind of a wild card. A lot of IL grads in Chicago, but their program isn't good. -

Honestly Rutgers, MD, NW and IU shouldn’t feel all that secure either. Enormous pressure on the IU football program now. -
I'm sure there have been some that worked out, but it seems like there have been a lot of reclassify failures

Iowa successfully raids Indiana, again, at OL.
13th&Jackson replied to Bad Brad's topic in Football Recruiting
Ferentz has been at IA for 23 years and has had 19 OL drafted. Can't argue with the track record. -

Yeah, I don't really consider Purdue (#9) or MI (#10) to be B1G teams either. 😀

I get that, but they could have the teams that finished in the bottom half all play home and home against each other (and do the same for the top half) and then have the bottom half teams only play one game against the top teams.

Makes sense that the defending co-champs get the easiest schedule, while NW, NE and MN get the most difficult.. I don't even understand what this statement has to do with scheduling: The schedule gods have been cruel to the Illini the past 2 postseasons, setting Illinois up with wildly under-seeded opponents in the NCAA Tournament Second Round.

Yeah that was painful
