Absolutely. Who wouldn't? Nothing to gain from coming back in that scenario. -

Every recent mock draft I’ve seen has JHS as a first round pick. Some in top 15 -

When I was in grade school I saw kids paddled for not doing their homework. That was after I transferred to public school. Catholic school was tougher. I had a nun knock me out of my seat once. -

Right, because Cupps committed knowing that JHS could very well be here next year and possibly after. So now he’d decommit because XJ would be here one year max? -

They buried the lead. Parker Stewart had 4 points on 1-9 shooting. -

Yes, and we have no idea what Miguel was saying to Pruitt. They both acted like punks. Then Pruitt ran away after throwing the punch. -
That NW-Rutgers game is interesting. NW has lost 3 straight, Rutgers has lost 5 of 7 (including crushing loss at MN). Rutgers is playing for their NCAAT lives.

I know we offered, but Bruce Thorton would make a lot of sense with the Yas, Banks and Newton, GA connections. We will probably need a PG.

I'm afraid that ship has sailed. With the home loss to IA, IU dropped from 18 to 29 in the NET. I just don't think a 3 is an option now, unless IU wins the BTT and some weird things happen to higher ranked teams.

Deion Sanders taking some heat for his recruiting approach from people who know nothing about building a football program. Several have weighed in on Twitter and elsewhere. “Well, we have different attributes. Smart, tough, fast, disciplined with character,” Sanders said. “Now, quarterbacks are different. We want mother, father. Dual-parent. We want that kid to be a 3.5 [GPA] and up because he has to be smart. Not bad decisions off the field at all. Because he has to be a leader of men and so many different attributes in what we look for when we see a quarterback.” Coach Prime likes to have a quarterback whose father coached football, which got an amused smile from Eisen, considering Sanders’ son Shedeur will be the quarterback for the Buffaloes in the 2023 season. The NFL Hall of Famer has similar criteria when recruiting offensive linemen. “Different positions are different,” Sanders said. “Like O-linemen, I look for dual-parent homes. A strong father that they adhere to. Smart kid, at least 3.3 [GPA] and above. Tough, physical.” But on the the defensive side of the ball, the coach looks for a different set of characteristics, and a different family situation. “Defensive lineman is totally opposite,” Sanders said. “Single mama, trying to get it. He’s on free lunch. I’m talking about just trying to make it. He’s trying to rescue mama. Like, mama barely made the flight, and I just want him to go get it.” https://www.mediaite.com/sports/deion-sanders-prefers-qbs-from-dual-parent-households-single-mama-homes-for-defensive-linemen-when-recruiting/amp/

This is consistent with the current standings on the Big Ten site. However, last night on BTN they had IU fifth. They had IU below a red line for the double bye teams.

If NW loses will Purdue go over to Mackey and cut down the nets?

The best was when Edey shoved his shoulder and arm into TJDs chest and knocked him backwards and drew an offensive foul. He looked shocked and reacted to the official like "that hasn't been called all year".
