I thought Holden would be an important piece for them, but he’s given them nothing. They just don’t have enough offensive firepower and they aren’t great defensively. Just good enough to be in every game, but lapses are fatal. Sensabaugh has to do too much. They only had 9 assists. Not really due to hero ball but Sensabaugh handles the ball a lot and has to create for himself (which he’s good at). If he goes pro, which I expect, things could be really rough in Columbus next year.

If only Calbert still had eligibility At 7-foot-1 and 294 pounds, Shaquille O’Neal was no small second round task for a No. 2 seed Indiana squad that once again had Final Four aspirations. O’Neal’s stat line for the 1991-92 season was almost as imposing as he was: 24.1 points, 14 rebounds and 5.2 blocks per game. The two-time consensus All-American and SEC player of the year was going to be a considerable challenge for an Indiana team that had no one in its regular rotation above 6-foot-9. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/this-date-in-hoosier-history-indiana-slays-shaq-and-lsu-in-round-of-32/

I’m sure the guy missed that JHS was 1 for his last twelve threes prior to last night. He’s 43%, which is excellent, but he’s a bit streaky. When he’s on, he’s 6-9, 5-7, 5-8. When he’s off, to his credit he’s 0-3, 1-4. You haven’t seen an 0-8 like some guys have.

That $40 million should have been the seed money for a new building campaign

I’ve seen a couple recent mock drafts that have him at 29 or 30. That could be an ideal situation. A guaranteed contract with a top team where he’d have time to develop

Since the PSU game, Kopp has been playing hard and smart. He and TJD have the best defensive awareness on the team

IDK. There have been too many times this year and last night when opposing players dive on the floor for a loose ball and the IU player bends over to try to pick it up. Maybe after seeing XJ and Race go down they are afraid of contact. Kopp was the exception at the end last night. Also, too many times we aren’t strong securing a rebound and give up cheap putbacks

I just think it's a confidence thing. He looks really good at the FT line

I'd put TJD ahead of Timme all day -
They don't even have any top 25 votes. If you haven't been ranked all season, it's tough to get ranked with a 14-5 record, especially if your name is Northwestern. OTOH, UConn is still ranked at 16-6 because they were #2 at one time. They don't really have any quality wins since a holiday tournament over Thanksgiving.

You know, it seemed like that, but it really wasn't true. Ramberg was 2-2 and Henley was 3-5 (1-2 from three), but those 11 points shouldn't have really mattered that much. Battle was 8-16 (4-9 from three), but the rest of the team was atrocious: Ola Joseph 1-8 (0-1 from three), Thompson 4-13 (0-5), Cooper 2-14 (0-6), Samuels 2-6 (0-2). They shot 34%, 20% from three. If you take out Battle, they were 29% overall, 1-16 from three.

Too many quick shots without making the D work. But otherwise it seems like we never shoot well there. Fortunately MN didn't either.

On3 ranked Bronny as the No. 1 NIL-maker at $7.5 million on their top 100 valuation. He has already landed NIL deals with Nike and PSD Underwear, as well as Beats by Dre — for which he stars in a campaign ad alongside James with the tagline “The Chosen One vs. The Chosen Son.” 🤮

They've lost 6 of 8. They're 6th in the Big East, 4.5 games behind Xavier (who just swept them). What is their NET ranking? #7. What is Xavier? #22
