I really hope coach Allen can get it turned around. He seems like a great guy, loves the program, and has recruited historically well for us. But if we do end up making a change in the near future, I really hope we go with an offensive guy. That gives us a puncher's chance in most games, better opportunities for upsets, and it's just more entertaining to watch. If Washington gets left out of the B1G, throw big money at Deboer.

He is under excessive pressure due to Hiller's poor offensive protection, but he makes poor decisions and throws when he has time. That's not debatable.

True, but what about when rolls put and has time? He tends take bad choices or throws about half the time as his stats show.

I'd say mediocre job honestly. Just not a big fan.

Fair enough. As we've discussed, he doesn't step into throws well, which could be the product of poor protection. But I don't like his decision making when he does have time.

Seems like a very solid list. Leipold, Campbell, and O'Brien would all do well there. They would all appear to be a good culture fit and probably view Nebraska as a destination job.

Urban might wait for Auburn. Much better recruiting area, and bigger recruiting and NIL budgets. Nebraska is going to require a specific recruiting blueprint and ability to develop players into a system. A Midwestern guy that embraces the Nebraska culture would be ideal. Urban would make a big splash, but not sure he'd be in it for the long haul.
