  1. Wouldn't it be appropriate for IU and coach Allen to finish him off since Frost campaigned so openly to have IU on his schedule? Karma.
  2. Agreed. Penix is a stud. Absolute NFL arm. Hope he gets to realize his potential.
  3. For sure. But he tore his ACL on non contact going out of bounds for us. Pray that guy stays healthy and shows what he can do.
  4. All good brother. Wife is from Kentucky and went to UK. Gotta keep momma happy!
  5. Due to the fact you trashed the SEC earlier, I'll let this go😅
  6. Absolutely not. Launched and crown of helmet hit facemask, exploding his helmet from his head. They should use that to teach targeting to young officials.
  7. Massive targeting not called against UK's Levis. Couldn't be more textbook targeting. That call either needs to be clarified or removed.(McFadden!)
  8. Missed tackle, and a missed 19 yard field goal to end the first half. Bama gets smoked if Ewers plays.
  9. Bama is struggling. Can Auburn beat Alabama?
  10. Texas left a LOT on the field. Can't give Bama and Saban extra opportunities. Longhorns are up two touchdowns if Ewers wasn't injured.
  11. If Ewers collar bone isn't fractured, Texas will be extremely lucky. Sad, he was carving up Bama's defense.
  12. I'll be at home with IU on one TV, and UK on the other (Gotta keep mama happy;). Drinks will be flowing.
  13. That's sad to hear. Remember following them in the Journal Gazette.
  14. Winners go for the 2 point conversion! Love the fighting spirit. Hope they eventually get it turned around.
  15. Yes, and agree on preferring defense. Much more fun to light people up from free safety. Being a qb always gave me an extra step by recognizing what the offense was doing. Glad I played in the ironman days, but no way I could call offensive and defensive plays with the complexities of today's offenses and defenses.
  16. Appreciate your feedback. Good point, it's easy to say step into a throw when you're not the one with pressure in your face. I tore my left acl my freshman year of high school, and stepping into throws, especially under pressure, took awhile. Transferring your weight and extending your leg takes trust and confidence. Just wasn't sure if he had any issues since that seems to happen to "Connor" more than most. With his moxy and intangibles, I'll take a few high throws. That guy is a gamer!
  17. Definitely played a role in execution. What are your thoughts on Bazelak's tendency to throw high? It looks to me that he doesn't step into his left leg and keeps his weight back on his high throws. Wasn't sure if he had any left knee issues that keeps him from transferring his weight forward, or if it's habit. He needs to work on that, or interceptions could be an issue.
  18. We'll agree to disagree. Not a big deal. Good luck tonight assuming you have a game.
  19. The defender's helmet hit Shivers shoulder pad. His shoulder pad hit the bottom of his face mask snapping his head back. Either way, Shivers was dazed, wobbly, then collapsed. He lays prone with arms out; not something you would do with the wind knocked out of you. Agree he and the team are fortunate it wasn't worse. The wr's should run their butts off for making NO effort to block. Shivers is a beast.
  20. Hmmm. Sounds good, but the hit was a shoulder pad directly to the head. Having assessed athletes and patients with concussion protocol, I would question that assessment. Can't make a proper diagnosis without evaluating the person, but he wasn't exactly doubled over holding his abdomen, he lost coordinated movement and collapsed. That being said, I hope their recollection is correct for Shaun. Loved him at Auburn, and he is going to make some big plays for us. Hope we see a Purdue helmet go flying into the end zone after getting blown up by Shivers on a jet sweep in the Bucket game!
