  1. I especially enjoy seeing photos of our coaching staff watching players from rural Indiana schools. These kind of stories help continue the rich history and grass roots of Indiana Basketball.
  2. Well said IUFLA!!!! This should be a mic drop post. I'm going to say this till I'm blue in the face. This is year one with a brand new coach, new assistants as well as new portal players. I feel most people who are practically jumping ship are not looking at the entire, overall picture. Most successful and established coaches have been watching some kids before high school. Woodson had to pick up players on the fly and try to fill a need. Coach Woodson also hasn't had the privilege of watching and following guys for 3 or 4 years.
  3. Who else are going to put on Branham? That would have been Trey Galloway's man THE ENTIRE GAME! Not having Galloway last night was ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING!
  4. No they are not….W-L maybe the same, but comparing this team and season overall to last year’s team is polar opposite.
  5. If would have at least finished 6 of 9 from the free throw line, there is no OT, we win the game.
  6. Yes it was A. M., but a much different problem on last years team. Most of last year’s players didn’t enjoy playing together as a group due to A.M.
  7. Absolutely not!!! Poor shooting and poor execution! Good grief! Missed free throws and missed layups…. It’s on the players to put it in the hole when you are right in front of basket.
  8. Surely your not accusing me of commenting negatively about Brownstown's competition? Leave that to the "think they know it all" critiques against small school basketball players.
  9. Very respectable! Here’s want the critiques will say/ask….. ”What’s the quality of your competition in a small school compared to bigger schools where there are more athletes to choose from?” I feel these are the type of players you see at Northwestern, Iowa and Wisconsin….. Those kind of players we wish we had at IU.
  10. ….says Mr. Brownstown himself!😉 If so, Woodson and Co. needs to “kick the tires” on this kid. Not a better story than IU recruiting and landing a stud player from a small, rural Indiana school high school.
  11. Very proud of Marshall for his commitment to IU basketball and to his IU education. God blessed him with strong athletic skills as well as brains! I hear dental school is a tough gig! Good for him....Go IU!
  12. If anything, there may be flooded roads for the schoolbuses tomorrow.
  13. Yep….I could do an e-learning day tomorrow.
  14. One of my all time favorite players at IU. Everything about him exuded hard work, dedication and commitment to everything IU.
