Currently it is a Q2 win I believe. What is really dragging our NET down at the moment is Maryland and Louisville. Two P5 name brand teams that are currently only Q4 wins.

Not pretty but I will take wins where we can learn stuff over losses any day.

Malik and Ware need to learn how to pass the ball out of those situations. So frustrating.

It is that and there have been a few occasions where out interior guys get into black hole mode and totally miss wide open guys. Ware did some fall away jumper from about the foul line and had Cupps wide open in the corner. He hit one earlier but dear lord, fall away 10 footers from your center are about as bad a shot as you can take.

You learn in grade school not to do what Gunn just did there. We should be up about 6-8 right now but we are playing some stupid ball.

This Michigan team isn't that great, the fact we are tied right now is kind of disappointing.

It doesn't sound like they have their own lockers, they have to share with visitors and don't have access to those when visiting teams are in town. They specifically pointed out that the football team has Ferrari leather seats, their own workout facility, and a literal throne room and said it is unequal treatment. By the letter of the law w.r.t. Title IX, it is hard to argue that isn't the case. That is the issue schools are going to have, Title IX exists on one hand and the want to be minor leagues in the two sports that make money exists on the other. If the schools start paying players they will have to divide all that money equally. Say you decided to pay your football and basketball teams $30k each. That is $3 million (roughly). You then need to come up with another $3 million to pay all those women's sports that are money losers on top of their scholarships.

Oregon is facing a lawsuit from their Women's Beach Volleyball team regarding inequality in facilities and NIL opportunities. Schools jumping into these collectives and paying the athletes themselves are going to have to distribute the money evenly to everyone.

Which is dumb IMO. Just selfishly, IU is an Indiana state school. I don't like the idea of giving away games (and the economic benefits around them) to Illinois or Ohio just to try and game the NCAA's stupid system. If another school wants to invite us somewhere to play neutral, whatever, but I would be pissy if we played Missouri in Chicago and gave all the economic benefits of that game from our traveling fan base to Illinois. I believe the school still has some responsibility to the state.

So I hope the kid ends up here. That being said, this kind of stuff gets old. If Queen doesn't commit this week, then I don't know why this stuff gets taken so seriously. Yeah, eventually something will happen with Queen. If this dude thinks he has the answer, say who and around when. Short of that, anybody who follows message boards could do something like this. It means literally nothing.

Harvard was bad scheduling in Indianapolis. Any neutral sire game I would do would be there. You want to replace that Harvard game with a Missouri, fine. However, the UConn game was part of a tournament so we had no control over that. The Kansas game rewards season ticket holders with a team that has a pulse in the preseason. A #90 NET Northwest Southeastern State isn't a draw. The other issue you have is that those types of teams are often unicorns. You cannot gauge from year to year how good they are going to be. So setting those games up beforehand becomes a crap shoot. It is easier for a non-P5 team to go out and get those games because they are the roadkill that P5 teams are usually looking for. Almost anyone they play is going to be a positive for their NET. Just win games. That takes care of everything.

It may be good for NET but no one gives a shhh about a neutral site game against Missouri...

I kind of hate everything about this.

Any team with guards that can drive and hit the three is going to give us problems. Like Northwestern is going to be a pain. Probably MSU as well.
