I don't think we looked like a top 25 team (from what little I saw) the past 2 games. I think if things gel together quickly we might be by the end of year.

In fairness, every Boiler board I have ever seen is bat-shhh insane. He probably has to come here for a normal convo.

I was actually a student his last few years. He was fired right at the beginning of my senior year at IU. He was the program, gonna be honest and say it hasn't felt the same since then. We have had some good times (and quite a few not so good) since then, but nothing touches what the program was like during that timeframe and I was on the tail end of it.

He literally is probably the reason most of us are here on this forum. Had a feeling it was coming but sad to see him go. I would love if the University could find a way to name something after him on campus.

If it is kosher cool. I am all fine with being inventive as long as it doesn't end up screwing us over down the line. I have seen recruiting violations for bumper stickers and watched the program set itself on fire over phone calls. It seems like Queen is super interested in coming to Indiana. If this can legitimately push him our way, go for it. If there are any questions, let Mike Woodson do his job because IU has proven that we will fall on our own sword at the first sign of an NCAA inquiry.

When highly rated recruits start hunting for Indiana offers, you kind of figure good things aren't far over the horizon.

We had curfew being broken, excessive speeding, and a guy refusing to leave a fast food restaurant under Woody. Sampson had drug dealers and Crean had, among other things, a bunch of players drinking which led to one of said players getting hit by a car driven by one of his teammates. Woody isn't getting a bunch of flack because there is a pretty clear delineation in severity.

I don't see anything there that changes my opinion.

Not many places are open at 2 a.m. We used to do the Taco Bell downtown because they were the ones open late when the bars closed and they were right there. Being out on 3rd St., I doubt there were a whole host of available options at 2:15 in the morning.

Why were you running? I have "run" from the cops before (like taking off when a party is busted) and anytime I was running is because I was actually doing something I knew I could get in trouble for. And if they caught and arrested me at those times it would have been my fault. I have never "run" from the cops when I wasn't doing something I wasn't supposed to be doing.

He wasn't arrested for being a dick. Him being a dick just gives some insight into his state of mind at the time. He was arrested for trespassing. Taco Bell has property rights. If they tell him he has to go because he is arguing with their employees, he has to go. They may have crappy service but it is their property and they can decide who they want to be there. You punish them by not doing business with them anymore or by using your very large social media presence to dog them. A Twitter post from MM would have been more damaging than anything he was doing. On the rest, Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation for him being followed and arrested is that he knew they were going to arrest him and so he took off.
