Cupps is the backup PG in my mind and even Galloway can run it a bit in a pinch. Hopefully the necessity for that would be rare but it is kind of there if we need it.

I think we potentially have some guys already on the team who can view for that 2 spot too. Newton was injured his senior year and could be one of those guys that surprises. Gunn may adjust and be ready to go. I think you look to add another good guy but I think worst comes to worst we will still be ok. Newton for instance is a 6'4" guy but he has a 6'10" wingspan. That length out on the perimeter is tough. He can shoot and he can get to the rim. He isn't getting brought up much at all but we may be sleeping on him.

All I know on the defensive end is that we just added a bunch of length and athleticism on that side of the ball. 6'8, 6'9, and 7'0 is a nice starting frontcourt. Our starting PG is one of the better on ball defenders in the BIG and goes 6'3" and the most likely current 2 guard candidates on the team go 6'3", 6'4", and 6'5" and we can still add a guy there. On paper (which we all know is not the be, all end all) we have some pieces to play with. TJD is the guy I don't think we have replaced but we have added a really good committee of guys to help fill the huge hole he is leaving. I think that XJ should fill in pretty well for JHS. JHS has that higher ceiling but I think we are OK there.
