  1. Purdue, when they have an okay team and think they've arrived as a national power.
  2. Does HSN pay posters by the word now? Ha, just kidding, Olsontex. Good posts.
  3. Twitter employees finding out their pronouns are "was / were."
  4. I really appreciate you leading with the key information at the top of all your pregame posts. It helps a lot.
  5. Very nice update with some top-30 IU-offer '24's who may reclassify to '23. From TheDailyHoosier, of course. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-recruiting-notebook-two-2024s-considering-reclass-tucker-eyeing-visit-moreno-offered/
  6. I hope JHS and Malik both have terrific years, and good experiences at Indiana. We are recruiting several top 40 kids from their former Montverde team. It sure would help if our coaches started a call with the recruits to say "Malik got Freshman of the Week again. 22 points in front of 17,000 fans. He and Jalen are crushing it here. That could be you next year."
  7. Posted in the Pet Peeves McDonald's discussion, too.
  8. Good seasons by Hood-Schifino and Reneau could help our recruiting with Montverde, where more amazing players are coming up. Prove that freshmen can play and thrive at Indiana.
  9. Movie trailers are an art form. Here's the Battle for Sevastopol. About a sniper with over 300 kills. Amazing music.
  10. Is this a new rapper? I have a hard time keeping up.
  11. DailyMail article on the arrest. Says there may be a press conference Monday. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11366651/Man-50-arrested-connection-Delphi-murders.html
  12. Late blooming 7' center Braden Pierce. 2023. Indiana interest. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-recruiting-class-of-2023-names-to-know-7-foot-center-braden-pierce/
  13. Oct. 26, 1825, Erie Canal opens https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/this-day-history-oct-26-1825-erie-canal-opens-transforming-american-infrastructure-commerce
  14. A terrific article about Coach Knight and Michael Lewis. Wasn't sure where else to post this. From TheDailyHoosier: https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/the-genius-of-knight-from-31-points-per-game-to-all-time-assist-leader/
  15. A nice story about a Kentucky coal miner who rushed to see a basketball game with his son. I can put aside my UK opinions to respect this father. The comments are good, too. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/photo-kentucky-coal-miner-with-son-uk-basketball-game-goes-viral
  16. Twitter employees list demands for new owner Elon Musk. I almost posted this in Comic Relief. It's as funny as can be. https://www.foxnews.com/media/twitter-workers-mocked-open-letter-saying-musks-twitter-plans-threaten-our-livelihoods-so-entitled
  17. No apology needed. Archie and derailing just go hand in hand. Problem: Miller's team couldn't shoot. Solution: pack line defense! Coach Woodson when he arrived: WTH is the pack line defense?
  18. The British cavalry’s "Charge of the Light Brigade," famously dramatized by poet Alfred Lord Tennyson, took place on St. Crispin’s Day, Oct. 25, 1854, during the Crimean War. "Theirs not to reason why. Theirs but to do and die," Tennyson wrote of the hopeless and ill-fated attack.
  19. Oct 25, 1944 First Japanese kamikaze attacks on US navy. https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/this-day-history-oct-25-1944-kamikaze-suicide-pilots-attack-us-navy
  20. Jordan Geronimo article from Inside The Hall. He wants to play the 3. The author wrote: "Confidence and a positive attitude can easily translate into improved skills." Ugh. Here we go again with someone who thinks a player "just needs more confidence" and he'll suddenly, magically, shoot better. A better plan is improved skills, which may lead to confidence. Anyway, here it is: https://www.insidethehall.com/2022/10/25/2022-23-indiana-basketball-player-profile-jordan-geronimo/
