So none of the 4 best teams in baseball made the LCS. The bye in the MLB playoffs has become the kiss of death. Expanding the playoffs has rendered the 162 game season irrelevant.

who are the guys on the bench you think can shoot? I’m optimistic about the guys coming in, but I don’t see the returning guard on the bench who can shoot.
If it’s CJ, where is the comp of a guy going from that awful to being a positive shooter with volume in one year? I’ve just never seen that.
Maybe he doesn’t qualify as volume, but Olidipo went from a 21% 3pt shoooter to a 44% 3pt shooter in one year.

When 5-star recruit Regis "Boobie" St. Claire is found dead on his recruiting trip to a prestigious university, it's up to Steelpecker to crack the case.
I heard that if coach Woodson had scheduled his surgery better, Boobie would have been on campus in Bloomington that weekend instead of that other prestigious university. He’d still be alive today. Coach Woodson has blood on his hands…..and his knee.

So, none of your wife’s ever told you? Or, you just weren’t listening?

The NFL draft is irrelevant to Chris Ledlum. Going all-in on a player and not getting him is a miss anyway you want to slice it. Not landing Chris Ledlum hurts IU more than it helps. Not sure what’s so hard to understand about that?
I remember when we went all in and missed on Moses Abraham. Devastating to miss on your #1 target. Especially when we had to watch him accomplish so mu………..well, we were really upset that he didn’t come to IU.

I don't think so.... We are still in the hunt, apparently this kid wants to make sure. It just doesn't sit well with me, him spending two nights and a day on a Tennessee official visit. There is too much time to sell and woo the program. I mean if he knows it's IU, then he will definitely know after this weekend. If I were to guess, I would say we are more out of it with Knetch. JMO
No state income tax on that NIL money in Tennessee……

Agreed…we just saw how ineffective our style is so let’s be even more Big Teny lol…let’s take the cast offs of all the bad B1G teams like Miller and Battle and think that’s the answer. I’ve loved what we have done in recruiting…in the portal not so much. The best player we’ve gotten in the portal came from the ACC with an injection of speed and athleticism….but here we are wanting B1G retreads that weren’t even successful at their last school. Everyone already has played Battle for 4 years…they have a book of scouting how to defend him. They all know his strengths and weaknesses. He is not going to be a needle mover here. Sorry jmo.
Max Bielfeldt seemed to work out pretty well. I’m not disagreeing with your premise, but I don’t think that ‘B1G Castoff” blanket should cover everyone.

I know there is already a Thank You thread for TJD, but I want to point out how lucky we are as fans to have had both TJD and Grace Berger leading their teams. They are similar in so many ways. Both had plenty of options to go other places, but both CHOSE IU. They have both stated that they came to Bloomington to help turn around the basketball fortunes, and they did. They are each the first person to record a triple double for IU. More importantly they are both tremendous human beings. When the coach of your biggest rival calls you out in a postgame press conference, after a loss no less, because you reached out to him to share condolences for a lost former player, that speaks a lot to your character. When your teammates are crying during postgame interviews, not so much because they lost, but because they feel they let you down, and won’t get to play with you anymore, that says a lot about your character. As an IU alum, I am proud to have had both of these players representing my University. I don’t really need a banner to look at to know that both of those individuals are champions through and through.

The exact same thing happened in the ladies game tonight. Maybe they teach that in Miami.

After all three of Jalen’s threes, his guy scored on a layup at the other end. We were never coming back because we simply could not get stops.

The best defense against TJD is JHS with the ball.

The narrative was Kent State was good enough to give us fits. And, that was not the case.
And that entire narrative came from the fact that they LOST two games by single digits to ranked teams. They didn’t beat a single ranked team, but suddenly they were a trendy pick to upset IU.
-
Well, it’s looking like Kent State’s single digit loss streak is going to end.

I know I’m probably just sensitive, but I swear it feels like these announcers are pulling for Kent.
Everyone all week has been pulling for Kent. Don’t you know they lost two games to ranked teams by single digits.

Funny (not really) how real life can put a game into perspective. Godspeed.
