You remind me of someone who worked for Bleacher report:
The Indianapolis Colts' selection of South Carolina State linebacker Darius Leonard with the fourth pick in the second round was one of the draft's worst moves. They took four second-rounders, so they had plenty of room for error, but this one stands out as a head-scratcher.

Well, to be fair, one of Shep's complaint's about X, is that he isn't a team first guy. Go back and watch the Illinois game. Late in the game, X had several critical free throws, and not once did he pass it to one of his team mates, he took those shots all himself, and he didn't even try to miss one of them, so Trace or Race could get a rebound and maybe a put back. Nope, he hit them all, trying to hog all the glory. Who want's to play with a guy like that...I mean, what a selfish a-hole.

One of the reasons Coach Knight hated the conference tournaments. The team was exhausted.
Other than that, I expected a first round loss. Bring on JHS, Banks and Gunn. I just wish Trace was here with shooters.
Yeah, seeing what happened to Iowa as well, I'm ready to concede the B1G tourney every year. Play it earlier, or the best teams should opt out.

Fellas, at least we didn't lose to Saint Peter's.
Does this mean Calipari will refuse to play in the tournament again?

It's not Brad Davison, it's the youngest of the Bohannon brothers.

I hope our team doesn't feel like this game is already won. Remember, they said just last week they "underestimated" Michigan in the game UM ran us out of our own gym. We have not accomplished anything yet. This team should underestimate no one, in order to beat anyone. Our staff needs to have them mentally ready. That said, I expect that we will come ready to fight-- and win.
Coach Woodson needs to channel his inner Lou Holtz.

The B1G tournament will not be officially on for this fan base until we have a drunken fan in the bleachers attempting to fight any and all comers from opposing team’s fans 😛
If we get to play Wisconsin, I'm all in.....

There were more possessions in the 1980s than in todays game
Wait, the advent of the shot clock DECREASED the number of possessions per game?

Coach Woodson needs to do something to piss off Juwan Howard during pregame warmups.
I'd pay eddy4iu kind of money (and buy everyone popcorn) to watch Juwan Howard slap Mike Woodson.

Seriously. The guy lives and works in Jersey. He's the only Rutgers fan I have ever met.
Are you sure he wasn't a fan of Rutget Hauer? At least that seems a little more plausible?

Yeah I don’t know what he’s actually done or been convicted of or when. I’m talking 20 years ago anyway.
20 years later, and I'd still take IU's position today over Louisville's. I don't think anyone can say Pitino ultimately had a positive impact on UofL.

Your listed timeline sounds about right. I’m not sure of your point though. If you speaking of the overall downhill slide of the program then yes I agree that it’s all on the administration from the beginning. I think that’s what you are saying?
The time to repair or build has been beaten to it’s death. I’m not of the Woodson can’t get it done eventually camp. However, I am of the IU stomped on their own foot by not hiring Pitino when he came calling as Mike Davis was interim. The narrative of no one of any significance wants to come to IU is complete hogwash.
This situation is interesting in a way because of Woodsons NBA experience and how he translates that experience and knowledge to the college game and amateur players.
Back to Dakich, he’s very raw and over the top in his assessment but I get it. I feel for the players as young people but he’s right in the way that there are players/people that go through the motions and then there are people that have the champion pedigree and work their tail off. That’s what I take from his rant.
I will never understand how anyone can pine for Pitino, except by placing winning above all else. That dude knocks up broads in restaurants and pays for abortions to keep it quiet. He hires prostitutes for recruiting visits, he's the only coach to have a National Championship banner taken down...why would anyone wish that on their university?

You know what sucks. Being on a team Zoom call at work that, after business is taken care of, evolves into a discussion on sports streaming options. At that point, the Rutgers fan on your team brings up last nights game. His comment is then followed by someone else (not a Rutgers fan) mentioning that's five in a row for Rutgers over Indiana. Not to be outdone, someone else has to bring up what the game does to the tournament hopes of both teams.
Yep. That sucks, and I just lived it 15 minutes ago.
You're lying...there's no such thing as a Rutgers fan......

Woody 💯absolutely had to make the dance this season to have a chance of surviving. Miss out and were looking for a new coach next season. Guaranteed
Guaranteed?!?! Put your money where your mouth is. I will bet $1000 that even if we miss the tournament, Mike Woodson will coach IU next year. Let's both send the money to a MOD of your choice, and the winner will get the cash at the first game next year. How about it? Let's test that guarantee.

I liked the cream hue on the jerseys. Nice change of pace from the white. I didn't get a chance to focus on what was on the side but they were good alternates.
Don't get me wrong, I love our regular jerseys with the clean white and the block Indiana. So clean and prestigious, IMO. Most schools don't have that simple solution and they come out with loud and erratic jerseys. I mean, Illinois', just as an example, zero identity to what they wear. Terrible branding. Every jersey they trot out there has zero meaning. You can go down the list for many schools.
Ours look great, are timeless, and are great for branding.
I wasn't a big fan of the uniforms, but they could've been worse...

IU put out a press release with the announcement that explains the significance of each element.
Again, it's all subjective. They're not going to please all of the people all of the time. Lots of people seem to really like them as well.
Let's just hope tomorrows headline doesn't read "Hoosiers Deflowered by Maryland".....
