  1. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, this bit (and many others) crack me up EVERY time.
  2. Watched “Don’t Look Up” on Christmas Eve. That was a fun, hilarious (and scary) one. Before that it was “Christmas Vacation” and “Home Alone.” The only other movie I watched this last month, was “Tik Tik Boom,” which I guess was more of a musical. But still very good.
  3. Ouch. We woke up to about a half and inch today here in Brooklyn. But warmer and rain scheduled for tomorrow.
  4. Just watched it last night - “Merry Christmas, the sh*tters full!”
  5. The foster dachshunds went to their new home last night, just in time for Christmas. Was just in time, b/c our nerves were frazzled by the barking.
  6. Merry Christmas to all of my IU pals!
  7. This is me. Just give me some IU basketball to enjoy. I keep worryhing they will cancel the game at the last moment.
  8. Have to share my favorite catfood, raccoons video. Sound ON.
  9. Yeah, sometimes the basket is empty, but sometimes it’s a crab convention! Looks like you are using chicken necks? That’s what we use.
  10. My in-laws have a home in Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay and they have a crab trap at the end of their dock. Lots of blue crabs every time we pull it up. That one on the top is a beauty!
  11. I agree about KJ and Parker - we need some edge and attitude. I know the result of Parker’s T wasn’t good, but I liked seeing him show that fire and go after the dude to back up his big man. More of that please.
  12. I’m sure these young athletes are probably not as cautious as you and I tend to be. they probably feel bulletproof.
  13. This feels like a pivotal moment in sports as it relates to COVID. Sucks. Hopefully our game tomorrow goes off w/o a hitch. Need some IU basketball.
  14. We tried that once with our cat Seymour when we were in college in Bloomington. He was not a fan. He would end up just going limp and making us feel like total a**holes for taking him out. 😂
  15. We do have a large fenced in courtyard in the back of our building and a good sized dog run that’s secured. So, we do have a lot of outdoor space, but wrangling three dogs into harnesses and leashes for the elevator trip down is a production. Good thing we are not in a walk up!
  16. Ha, we can’t. They are a package deal and we can’t have three dogs. But, we will keep them safe and happy until someone wants them.
  17. The rescue organization that we got our latest dachshund from reached out to us on Monday to see if we could foster two dachshunds that were owner surrendered. I was a bit hesistant as we live in a tiny place, but they said the original foster fell through and they were stuck in the pound. They are two dachshunds that are a bonded pair and had been in their home for about 9 years. We wanted to know the story, so my wife looked them up from the dog’s medical records. Looks like they were very loved, but the owners recently had a baby and moved into a new house. Apparently the dogs were disposable to them. They are super sweet, happy, and completely house trained. Meet Macintosh and Apple, hopefully someone wants to adopt them soon, b/c three dogs, two cats, and two humans in a 500 sq ft apartment is not a long term fit!
  18. Didn’t realize there was such a long wait for the next game. I expect us to pull out a win in this one, but it won’t be by much.
  19. Ha, I love that song and pretty much every other song of theirs!
  20. Man, the news just gets worse with that tornado. What a monster storm. It’s 68 degrees here in Brooklyn and our terrace Christmas tree just blew over in the wind.
  21. One would think so, but they looked almost like normal human beings. But once they started talking about Davidson being victimized, it was all I could do to keep silent.
  22. Was just at a bar in Fort Greene with my wife and the two dudes next to us were Wisconsin fans. They were talking about the game and used the term “thugs” like 2 or 3 times when talking about IU. In my head, I was like, “Dude, they allowed your trash guards to do whatever the hell they wanted in the second half. I wish we were thugs at Wisconsin instead of sheep.”
  23. That was my feeling as well. You could just see it slipping away in the way guys were carrying themselves on the court.
  24. Really tough loss, but it says a lot that most of us probably never felt comfortable even up 22 points. I had luckily walked around the block last night at halftime to get high. That really helped my mood as everything collapsed around me in the second half. I was pretty much in the “well, didn’t expect to win in WI anyway camp at the end.” Super discouraging, but I’ll still take this year’s product, team, and staff over the last four years. On to the next.
