Madison22 Posted June 7, 2022 Report Posted June 7, 2022 An impressive highlight reel, with article and links by our friend TheDailyHoosier. Not sure if we'll get someone from New York, but this 6'3" kid looks good. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-recruiting-hoosiers-offer-2024-5-star-point-guard-boogie-fland/ 1 1

Usually I would say no chance, but with CW, who knows. 2
5fouls Posted June 7, 2022 Report Posted June 7, 2022 I can hear BTN announcer Sean Morris now. If you recall, he refused to call Yogi by the name Yogi. It was always Kevin 'Yogi' Ferrell. So, i assume Morris would be saying Johnuel 'Boogie' Fland should he commit to IU. 2 1
Seeking6 Posted June 7, 2022 Report Posted June 7, 2022 Seems easy to me. JHS shines this year and next heads to the league....and we replenish with another one and say we'll do the same for you. 2

dwtaylor1055 Posted June 2, 2023 Report Posted June 2, 2023 now this would be a HUGE get. An immediate opening at PG once X is gone. 3

Doesn't mean we get lazy (I know our staff won't) but honestly all Coach has to do is put JHS film on and hit play. We have real time, real proof of how we use and develop elite freshman players and get them to the league. 5

So I’m not too sure that anyone would say anything about it. When it comes down to winning time, I’d bet that Woody would like to have his best ball handlers and free throw shooters on the floor together. 9

He is still living off that few year run where he was getting 3 or 4 in the draft each year. That hasn't happened in a couple years. But that is what everyone remembers
