Well for one Rutgers beat NW head to head and beat the #1 team in the country…but NW is a good team. They have perhaps the most important thing in college basketball (quality veteran guards). If you haven't been ranked all season, it's tough to get ranked with a 14-5 record, especially if your name is Northwestern. OTOH, UConn is still ranked at 16-6 because they were #2 at one time. Jett Howard is questionable tonight... Michigan (in my opinion)has the most talent in the league... Battle of Freshmen PGs in Smith and McDaniel... And of course, the two 7 footers... Makes me ill 🤮) I haven't watched much of Purdue yet but I thought someone on here or maybe twitter posted that Maryland's guards really almost out physicaled (I know that's not a word) Loyer and Smith. I'm thinking we can do the same with JHS and Trey/X when healthy. Will be curious to see which poison Howard goes with.
