Good God... I was buried with work and just checked the score.

Absolute curb stomping.

And someone tell me why Mackenzie Holmes isn't in the NPOY conversation again?!!?!?!?!

I taped the game and then just checked the score this morning. Wow, did not expect a full on curb stomp. Excited to watch this after work!

Hope Scalia shoots every time she touches it. That stroke is nasty!

She's firing, Yarden can shoot it from Israel and it'll go in. Parrish is quick triggered and a deadeye. Grace hit a three last night, you can't just completely leave her.

Find some more confidence in CMM shooting the ball (she was fantastic distributing last night and I actually think she is a better passer than Grace is)... and my god, idk how you guard us.

Ho hum... another Top 15 matchup with Michigan on Thursday.

830 tip on BTN

IMO, we controlled the whole first matchup. We got up 17 or so in the 3rd.. and then kind of coasted. The Brown girl is a darn good offensive player.... 18p 6a, their 2nd guard Phelia can score too. Kiser (Noblesville girl) struggled in the first meeting, she couldn't guard Holmes and couldn't do much on the offensive end. She has good avgs though 16p 8r.

We were up 67-50 with 3 mins to go in the 3rd in the last meeting... 68-56 at the end of the 3rd and then we gave up 27 points in the 4th.

If we play well, I don't think Michigan can hang with us.

Refresh my memory.  What were we ranked pre-season?

Both nationally and in conference.

Sport Reference recently updated their college basketball page to include Women's basketball. Now all the tools available for the men's side are available for the women, too.

Here's a summary of all the AP polling this season:

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/seasons/women/2023-polls.html

Big Ten teams ranked in the preseason were:

4. Iowa

11. Indiana

14. Ohio St

17. Maryland

22. Nebraska

25. Michigan

You young guys. Look up Kevin McHale. Holmes moves around the basket look really similar

Good comparison, and that’s why I think we could play South Carolina tough. With their twin towers you can’t just go straight up or you’ll get your shot blocked - just ask LSU. Holmes could be a real challenge for them, with all her moves around a the basket, and the ability to step out and hit the 10 footer. Would love to see this matchup in the National Championship final.

Would love to see Hoosier Nation show up in big # at home….how ‘bout a new record of 15k+. THIS Hoosier team actually deserves AH sellouts the rest of the way. Stay tuned!

Yeah, I’m still trying to make sense of that result. WTH!

MSU is a tourney team if they play in another conference. They hit some silly 3s... we turned it over and didn't have Berger.

Coming into that game MSU was 8-5 with losses to 4 ranked teams and @Purdue. In the 4 ranked losses only one was a more than an 8pt spread. They're still Top 50 in NET, even though they're only 13-12.

They were top 35, top 30 for a long time during the season. Idk if they've had injuries or not.

That was Michigan...not MSU?
