IU will be irrelevant until they hire the greatest coach in history.

Sure, do we just find those in a cracker jack box? Do they come as a prize at the carnival? Or maybe just order "greatest coach ever" from amazon?

Jon Gruden thinks you were talking about him.  He's probably hired an image consulting team and IU would be plenty of opportunity for him to reprove himself.  Get to play against 3 big boys every year.

If you want to regain blue blood status, you have to go out and get a coach to get you back.

Saban wasn't the greatest ever until he got to Alabama. He was great, having won a title already at LSU and coaching in the NFL. But, coupled with the history at Alabama, he became a monster.

Kansas goes out and gets Bill Self, Kentucky goes out and get John Calipari and Indiana goes out and gets cruddy coaches who have no idea how to build and maintain a great program.

And you guys wonder why they are still blue bloods and Indiana is still a has been.

What we wonder about, even more than, "why they are still blue bloods and Indiana is still a has been?"

Why do you post here?

okay, but you are not allowed to be negative or critical.  must be positive at all times or you are not a real fan.  you didn't know that?

There are a lot overreactions don't you agree? MSU does this every year. Plays a tough non con schedule, normally gets pretty well smoked, but then tries to learn from the experience. IU has looked like crap, but the season is just getting started. Let's see where we are in February.
