What kind of selection struggles we talking? The Immodium kind or the ExLax kind? :coffee:

I remember when I was having a struggle and my FitBit buzzed and congratulated me for earning zone minutes!😂

I get that but it’s still not limiting NIL. People talk like “there must be a cap”. You can’t cap NIL.  Any back to the regular scheduled program before I get in trouble.

But if we went to a paid employees with contracts, NIL would hopefully actually mean earned NIL.

At this point, might as well have drafts and guaranteed 2 or 3 year contracts.

That is why he will be a huge get. UCONN only shot 31% from 3 in the tournament but there guards still scored a lot of points.

They also blew everyone out

Have guards that breakdown the D and score in multiple ways is what we need. Rice and Carlye fit that. Tucker has some potential and Galloway is his gamer. Woody is very close to assembling a solid team with actual quality depth.

What's the latest? Is he ours or is he slipping off to Lincoln?

I could see Nebraska being a threat. If Essegian returns to freshman form, he's still fighting for major minutes (assuming Carlyle is coming).

If he returns to form, Nebraska can sell him on major minutes and feeding him like the dude that just left Nebraska. And we haven't proven that this system thrives for 3 point shooters.

The obvious counter to that is, we haven't had one, but Nebraska just did and his minutes are available

Sounds like Hoiberg is trying hard to get CE to Lincoln this weekend.

People will naturally panic if we don’t get him but it’s like the second quarter of portal season and our starting spots have been filled. We need a sharp shooter, someone who can back up the 3 and 4 (like an MM 2.0), and someone to backup Ballo (hopefully Malone). I think we will have plenty of options for each. I think it would be different to panic if we had Dayton kid supposedly committed and Nebraska convinces him to go somewhere else but CE isn’t a must have for me more like a cool he will help our team.

Wasn’t one of CE stipulations that be close to home so his family could watch him or was that someone else?  He would get a shat more shot opportunities in the Hoiberg system.
