What's story with OSU's Kaleb Wesson? Is he likely to miss the Big 10 tourney? Any rumors as to what he did?

No rumors. Holtmann said that Wesson would “return this season” so I’m expecting him to play in the tournament. He’s suspended again today. Not much time left to “return this season”.

Unless things have changed behind the scenes and haven't been made public yet.

Once past the automatic qualifiers, the committee’s job is to add the best at-large teams and seed all 68. The way to do that is strictly apply the NET and quad data and avoid subjectivity. Then between seasons, continue to refine it. Don’t adopt a system, then override it with human judgment

Better to acknowledge that the formula is flawed and supplement it with human judgment. The NET is simplified bench mark that people can easily digest and talk about. It is not a fine instrument for differentiating between similarly qualified teams: it was never intended to be.

Archie weighs in.

And why not? We’ve never won it, we certainly appear to be playing our best ball of the season. We’re healthy, we are showing some quality depth. We are gelling...

Honestly, when you think about it, what kind of coach uses the “let’s just try to win one more game and see what happens” approach to motivating his team? (Unless it’s the last game of the NCAA or NIT tournament, of course)

Disaster strikes as Lipscomb loses to Liberty. A bubble team just lost their spot. Just have to hope it wasn’t us.

We are going to have to keep winning.  Must win the opening BTT game and probably beat MSU for the third time.  Pretty tall talk but I honestly dont think MSU has the look of a team that is going to want to make a run in the BTT.  Better to get some rest and gear up for the NCAAT.
