Never underestimate the power of the McDonald's menu to both intimidate customers and confuse its employees.

45 minutes in the drive thru this morning...with 2 lanes open.

We went through a McDonald’s drive through in Bloomington after the game yesterday. They almost had to be trying to screw up to get things as botched as they did.

Pet Peeves self reporting. So my pet peeve is myself sometimes. Headed to Bears game this weekend with a crew from grade school, high school,etc....anyway I'm in between sizes on things. Wife orders a Bears fleece, vest, hat, tshirt,etc.....weather is going to be really warm for November in Chicago.

My pet peeve is this. Why is my initial reaction darn that stuff is so expensive and it may not even fit.....vs a normal response of thank you very much, this is awesome,etc...

Agree with the first...it's the opposite on other side. I'm in between large and now medium and clothes are the hardest to buy in 168lb world. I like loose but not long. Form fitting but not tight. Tough problems going on in my hood I know.

Just a pet peeve of mine with others yet I'm doing the very thing right now.

Anyone else tired of hearing leaf blowers every time they step outside?

Just catching up on this thread. I feel bad for my aunt's neighbors. She lives in an old established neighborhood here in Indy. Trees are all huge. Anyway twice a week I run up and run the leaf blower (since her little selfish son never likes to help) from about 9am to 2pm....just to keep up. I'm red lining that thing for 5 hours straight!

Buying long sleeve shirts/hoodies is a pain for me. I'm 6'3".  A normal wingspan for me should be 73-77 inches. My wingspan is 79.5"  which means I have to find XLT which isn't always available.  XL sleeves are too short and XXL shirts are way too big.

It's also probably because I like my sleeve to rest around my thumbpad.

They use that metric crap, it's different!

I'm going to have to defend my boy Thomas Jefferson.  He wanted the US on the metric system. TJ is responsible for the dime too. At the time the silver dime was 1/10th the value of a unit of silver.

Also, the metric system wasn't fully evolved yet at the time the system of weights and measures was chosen.

Oh man, I remember that crap everywhere when I was in corpsman training with the Army in San Antonio. You couldn’t escape it.

Almost as bad as living in the heart of SEC land during football season, or any other season for that matter! They still talked nonstop about SEC football.
