I’m not really trying to overhear people watching porn on their phones on my way to or from work. But I think that’s where we are. People don’t seem to care about how their actions impact the people around them. I also think I’m over sensitve to the noises of others. Porn addiction is a very real thing. And it's something noone wants to talk about. I had my first internet connection about 1996 and not long after my first porn experience. I haven't seen it it about 16 years when I first me my wife. It really does mess you up and part of the reason why I think these school shootings happen is because kids aren't being socialized properly and porn is part of that. If I could choose another career it would be school counselor and I'd be a hell of alot better than what I had. With the exception of one. They retract into the hole and you have to fight to get them out just to not use them. Many local papers are not actually local anymore though. Being bought up by conglomerates like TV stations. I’ve always read the paper and a few magazines to get my news. I watch the financial networks, and I get more than enough "news" from them, and most of the "news" is political (which I hate), but seems like everything is politicized these days. Even the stock and bond markets are taking on a political life of their own. We have the exact same thing that happens in academic medicine seminars at work. The speaker gives their presentation and then I usually leave once the questions start. The people asking the questions always have to talk about themselves first, show everyone how smart they are, and then finally meander to their actual question.
