My son is still negative. Overall, my daughter just had a fever on day 1 and a mild runny nose the rest of the week. That was it. My wife had cold like symptoms and feels better today. Me? Hell, I’m getting crushed. I only have a sore throat but it is the worst sore throat I’ve had in my life. It feels like I’m swallowing razors and can’t sleep because I keep choking on my spit. I’m waiting to call the doctor (7 more minutes until they open) because I noticed white spots in my throat and think I may have strep. Had to miss over a week of work, had a fever of 103 and was absolutely miserable. I also had trouble sleeping because it felt like I was getting stabbed in the throat every time I swallowed. That is definitely how it feels. I’ve resulted to just spitting in a bottle because i don’t want to deal with swallowing it and it’s grossing everybody out. Haha. Unfortunately the strep test came back negative - I just need to wait it out. Hang in there @mrflynn03. It hit me like a ton of bricks at tip off of our game against Penn St. Today is my last day of quarantine. As bad as it was, it’s nothing compared to when I had strep. I swear people drive so bad now everyone should take a driving test when renewing their license. Nothing pisses me off more than when people drive without headlights in low visibility conditions. Why do people become such jerks as soon as they get behind the wheel. Even when I try not to, I get short tempered in traffic. Also, sorry about everyone’s COVID cases lately.
