I would like to see us long and quick all over the floor.  Kind of like Arkansas.  I think the best part is I think that’s what Woody wants.

Thats how I want the Hoosiers to be. The 7ft slow lumbering players like Edey are players i hope Coach Woodson stays away from. Also that might be why Durr is transferring, he just doesn't fit the style coach wants to play.

Unbelievable to me that there are a lot of Boiler faithful screaming for Painter's scalp...

I despise Purdue, but if they think they can get a better coach than Matt in there, well good luck...

I honestly think he gave Ivey too much latitude, but he's a solid coach and runs a good program...

Be careful what you wish for...

I think it's the fact that they know what Purdue ceiling is, good regular season but flames out in the tourney. Painter has been there 17 years and has one Elite Eight thanks to Carsen going off. When you have gone 40 plus years without a Final Four and no National Championship, Helms lol, it is understandable that frustration is setting in.

Trevion Williams says Saint Peter's got a home whistle. Also said Purdue didn't play hard enough.

Their first two tourney games Purdue shot a combined 79 FTs and their opponents shot 23 FTs, Williams needs to shut his whiney mouth.

  4. I'm bored so I started reading some of the Toiletmakers boards and they are starting to sound like Kensucky fans without the hatred. The bloom is starting to wilt for some of them on Painter, the funny thing is they are resigned to the fact that he is a Sweet Sixteen coach at best but that he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I’m wondering,….which loss from 15 seed St. Peter’s hurts their program the most,….UK or Purdue?

This was PU one chance, how often do they have a probable lottery pick and reach 1#. They could drop off big time next season. Kensucky will still get their share of 5star players, so they should still be decent.

Absolutely...but I still remember a Pacers scout (when asked about Edwards who was then playing semi-pro at Ft. Wayne) being asked about Jay's NBA prospects.  His response was memorable.  "Great shot but he couldn't guard a sidewalk." 😂

He definitely would fit into todays game then lol.

Besides the normal crew Alford, Bailey, Calbert.....Edwards is still part of me everyday since he's in my passwords and ATM/Debit codes.

I'll never forget reading in the newspaper (spring of 1989) a little blurb in our Illinois paper saying Edwards is going pro. Heartbroken to say the least. If he stayed all 4 no doubt we raise one....and he'd likely be neck and neck with my all time favorite Hoosiers.

With his shooting abilities and skill I think he would be a great one in todays game.

I think we are up there with the Titans and will compete for the South title

I think they will be up there also. As far as clearly better than them, I would put Buffalo, Chargers and maybe the Chiefs before they lost their cheat code in Tyreek Hill. Raiders and Bengals are a wait and see, there have been quite a few one hit wonder teams in the NFL so we will see how they do with some success. Titans and Colts are pretty even in my opinion. Broncos I am not sold on yet.

Grant Buselli (not sure of the spelling) is transferring from Wright State.  He’s a big that has good post moves and can shoot the 3 ball.  Not sure he’s B1G material though.

A big that can shoot, if he is B1G material the Hoosiers need to be contacting him.

It's been pretty much a given that Trayce would leave sinec Woodson said "he's ready" in front of the Wyoming game.  We had some wishful thinking that he might not, but realistically, it was pretty clear at that point, IMO.  We should be really happy with the time he spent here, but yeah...he gone.

He will always be one of my favorite Hoosiers, up there with Henderson, Cheaney, Yogi and someone I will get some smirks about Jay Edwards.

If you can go first round, you go.  Its life changing.  Good luck to Trace, loved what he did for us and i hope he succeeds in the NBA

Yeah if he is projected late first early second it would be crazy for him to come back. If he does leave best of luck to him. He is a player that I will always follow his career.
