I just don’t respect UNC and Kansas for all of their shenanigans.  No way would I ignore that.   I do respect Duke but the holier than though, insincere presentation are hard to take.  I have zero issue with Villanova even if this is their third title in recent years.  Unfortunately it likely won’t play out the way I want so we will have to live with something like K walking off with a title.

Wasn't there shady dealings with Zion and his parents getting a house? And if I remember right there was something with Cory Maggette and jewelry.

I think they're under some investigation, no?

I don't really care to see any of these teams win a natty but Villanova is probably the least stained of the four.

I don't want to see any of them win one, but of the four I would rather see Kansas win it.

    Losing Ivey is a positive

    losing TW50 sucks

losing Sasha hurts more than Ivey….MP always says the offense runs better with him out there

we have to have the guy running off a billion screens.  Dakota, Carsen, Cline, Sasha…

I think Pack could easily be that guy

    gillis & Morton are possible

Newman needs to feed the post and cut down on turnovers

I think Purdue will be a decent team next season, but not even close to a consistent Top 10 team like they were this season.

I think Edey will get some preseason B1G POY votes tbh. Pack would be huge for us.

Yeah I imagine him and Xavier would be two of the leading preseason vote getters. IF Purdue gets Pack he will help but not to the point they will be in discussion for a B1G title.

Why do you think we’ll take a big step back?

Well the first place you are losing Ivey then Williams and not really replacing them with anyone comparable. Also losing some experienced players and replacing them with unproven ones. Edey is a decent player and Morton has potential but the rest is unknown. While Sasha may be bad on defense his 3 point shooting is going to hard to replace. It is pretty simple to see that they will take a step back, probably around 6th or 7th in the B1G in my opinion.

With all the talk about tampering, I honestly don’t know the answer to this.  Has anyone gotten into trouble for it, or is a free for all?  If it’s the latter, you have to be stupid to not be aggressive in there.  If Purdue talked to Pack two weeks ago, good for them if it’s tacitly accepted practice.

I’ve said it for years but the NCAA is flat out one of the most incompetent large organizations in the country.  You get ivory tower types who have no freaking idea how to run an organization with real life implications.   They’d be better off with someone with real life experience producing something instead of academic nincompoops.

I am not a big fan of Ratface but he hits on some good points here.

It depends when we pick but say we have the #1 pick Holmgren would he my 4th on my list. Mine would be Smith, Banchero and Ivey

Mine would be either one of Smith, Banchero or Holmgren. Ivey will be a good player but I'm not on his bandwagon like others are. If the Pacers ended up drafting a little lower in the top ten I would even take Murray over Ivey.

Nobody said he wasn't good in college but as a Pacers fan I don't want them to pick him.  I don't see him being able to be physical enough to be able to compete at a high level on the NBA

He has great upside, and I would be pretty happy if the Pacers got him. The NBA isn't the NBA of old, it is more open and not as physical as it used to be which is perfect for him.

The games I've seen this year, he looked very good...very skilled and mature for a big man and way ahead of what most freshman bigs look like.  He started for #1 (at times) Gonzaga so obviously Mark Few likes him a lot.  The biggest knock is his very slender frame which brings a question of durability.  Make no mistake though...he's very skilled.  This is no Adam Morrison.

That said, he could be Sam Bowie or Greg Oden in the NBA...so injured he never shows his potential.  OTOH, I remember people snickering about Kevin Durant's bench presses at the combine.  My best guess is he's either very good...maybe all-star good or a complete bust.  I don't see him being a mediocre player in the NBA, but at this point, everyone is guessing.

Yeah I don't get the take some people have about Holmgren. The guys skills and athleticism are crazy for his size. The only legit knock on him is his weight. At 7ft 1in give me this everyday on the Pacers.

Brad was on with the "Field of 68" guys yesterday and made a remark that "if the first thing a recruit asks me is how much he can make via NIL, I'm hanging up!" 🤣

With the way the college game is trending he will maybe have to rethink that. All the top recruits are going to start asking that.

I still think Pack is a strong Purdue lean.

Sounds like they have been pulling a Kentucky if what some are saying about there being discussions for some time with him.

To be honest while he would be a nice get I don't think losing him would be that big of a deal. I am curious if IU has even reached out to him or if they even will.
