What's the word on Blazi's visit?

That kid was making 2mil NIL a year. N freaking way he was ever leaving IU, and his volleyball player girlfriend is at IU. He didn't even need to announce. And why is everyone announcing they are coming back. Unless you hit the portal, we can assume you're still on the team.
Who is paying Cupps 2M?

Me?... Or the game? (you better say game....lol)
Not you silly! Playing the game at that time is really stupid. S. Carolina is the best team IU is a very good team with a lot of interest. Play this game at a normal time and you'd probably get more viewers than some of the men's games.

Just checked and what a lousy time for the IU/SC game 5 pm on Friday. Guess they don't want to interfere with the Men's games, but geeze.....
Pretty stupid on many levels.

Laing is gone from the DL as well.
Can't say I remember him doing anything. Cig and the boys are going to need to hit the portal pretty hard to fill up the DL.

Most would take Painter over Woodson and he isn't even on the list.
Pearl is #4 on the list. Hard to think we would be able to steal him without making us #1 on the overpaying list.
I'd rather over pay for someone really good (not necessarily Pearl) than the other way around. Not sure when Painter's contract is up, but seems like he needs to get a better agent.

Scalia upon transferring mentioned she wanted to play in big time games, win at a high level, etc.
Remember-- Sara was a 2nd team All B1G performer at Minny. She gave up the Batman role to be a part of what IUWBB has become.
I always thought that was pretty cool.
She'll get her chance against S. Carolina. She'll probably have to score 25+ (a lot of threes obviously) for them to have a shot. These upper echelon teams are physically tough. You have to shoot lights out to minimizing the banging and open it up underneath for Mack.

from hearing about the Pacers Lakers game the other night, I'm not sure.
It was insane. And keep in mind AD and LeBron were STILL complaining after basically every call for and against them. I have never seen a super star complain more about officiating than LeBron. In his mind he is always fouled and never fouls. AD isn't much better.

Btb and HSN have both hinted at rumors of visitors this week.
Gotcha. So there is no confirmation as to who said this or who might be visiting.

It was sarcasm. Of course it's ridiculous.

I understand you believe that, and that's fine. But it's also ok for me to hope for positive momentum and results regardless of the current situation and what others (and I) think about Woody and the administration.

i think he is definitely a good coach, but i'm not a fan. would definitely take a handful of other coaches over him.
I am not saying he's necessarily a good fit for IU, but he's still young and smart. And are you a fan of Dusty? And if so why? I would take a handful of other coaches over him as well. He might be good, but IU needs more of a "savior" than a gamble hire. For Michigan if he's good, great. If not, no big deal for them. I just don't think IU can hire another flavor of the month type of guy.

As I sit here watching Marquette I’m surprised more people don’t want us to look at Shaka Smart. I don’t like how he “plays defense” on the sideline but what he’s done with three different teams, two of which don’t have the resources we have, and the third being a football school is pretty impressive. He should be right behind Pearl if not equal to Pearl.
I agree. And he's 46.

Impressive win. Tight 1st half. Destroyed them in the 2nd

They should just keep pounding it inside until Fairfield proves they can stop it.

He blew an 18 point lead in 7 minutes.

He was at Hillsdale for 5 years, including a redshirt season. He's using his 6th year of eligibility at Oakland
Just another example of older players/teams beating younger teams. People say "that's an excuse". No it's not, it's reality. And with the portal you're going to see it more and more.

His Dad is on the Hoosier forum. Always a respectful poster. He said it came about 72hr and he notified coaching staff within 24 hrs. Wasn’t an easy decision for him. He is a grad transfer though.Hope the best for him.
What came about in 72 hours? What changed between Cig coming on board and now?
