Here is my thoughts on herd immunity. It will eventually happen, with vaccines and natural transmission. Past pandemics typically last 18-24 months. @tdhoosier some time back I said I would eat crow if I was wrong. Well eating crow isnt too bad with copious amounts of hot sauce. I've resigned myself to the point that we will probably be dealing with this until late next year or mid 2021. A vaccine will not be a panacea.

I've been fortunate financially but before corona hit had a promising job interview at a pharmaceutical company in Bloomington. More money, shorter commute. Then covid hit. Now, I just feel trapped. I apply and its wait and see. Nobody in my industry is hiring from the outside.

We have discussed mental health in this thread multiple times. I suffer from OCD. Not as bad as others but it is exhausting. I don't deal with change well and this year has been a roller coaster for me. I've talked to some in pm about it but OCD leads to other problems and I have just been angry. So again, I want to apologize if I've upset anyone. I'm operating with a clouded headspace. Please, I ask you take care of your mind.

@Lostin76 We might not agree on alot of things but I think we could agree on this. NY pizza is delicious, we love IU, and tortie kittens are the cutest thing ever. My new fat bottom corkscrew tail tortie is my favorite of them all. 😊

At times I've let my frustrations get the better of me. It clouds my mind and judgment, and I want to apologize for that. I think it's well past time to tune out the noise and focus on enjoying the best IU football team of my lifetime. Also, @jefftheref, wishing y'all the best.

Some of my favorite people and favorite cuisines is Asian of all kinds. But there is a very good reason why they are able to deal with these things better. They also spend much more time on education and less time sitting on their ass in front of a tv. My friend, Soo Rae Cha had to go back to S. Korea to do his 2 years of mandatory military service before coming back to go to college here.

LoL! Verbiage police? Did you have a foriegn exchange student from South Korea in high school in your house? I did. Asian culture leans toward being submissive. This is why they have been more successful. They do what they are told, respect the rules, their government and revere their elders. That is the difference. Individualism vs. Collectivism.
