  1. Quality optics make a difference. The industry standard for eye relief is 3.5 inches. My minimum is Leopold VX-1 3x9x40 or Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40. Own both and have better and have owned lesser. Problem with cheap optics is the glass and reticle suck. So if dialing in a 3×9 to the 9 magnification like I did when I got scoped you end up have 2.5 inches or less eye relief and get drilled in the eye socket. Rule of thumb I learned, your optics should equal the price of the rifle, give or take a few dollars.
  2. My favorite time of garden season. Habanero hot sauce. Been hauling in the load pictured below about every 2-3 days for the last month. Favorite pepper is habanero but grew a couple cajun bell pepper plant this year which will been an annual thing now. I recommend giving them a try. Cajun bell's are the 2 smaller reds in the bottom right. Tolerable heat, delicious flavor.
  3. @FKIM01 I can relate to this story. So, I got Savage .308 when I was in 6th grade and got a scope for it. And would shoot at targets 200-300 hundred yards out behind my house. I learned real quick not to get your eye socket to close to the scope. Luckily I didn't need stitches.
  4. I really liked Oktoberfest beers. If you can get it try 3 Floyds Muensterfest, or Hacker-Pchorr if you can get it. Me and alcohol dont agree anymore. Was fun while it lasted. 🤷‍♂️
  5. $9 dollar bottle of liquor $2 lighter = entertainment for me. Check out that footwork. Lol
  6. My dad was a semi driver, his favorite song and one of our favorite bands
  7. @tdhoosier Totally agree with Jason Isbell being one of the best writers out there. The man has been to hell and back. Genre doesn't matter in my opinion the best songwriters have lived hard and/or experienced hardships and they express it in their songs. And like Isbells song Anxiety, I and many others understand what he is talking about and relate to it.
  8. Y'all about to get some Gary Allan videos, vodka is to blame Ok I'm done.
  9. His music helps me get through my own struggles. Mine aren't near what he has been through, and if he can get through it so can I. Dang it, I dont know why, but I dont like being at the top. Whatever.
  10. If you dig deeper than the top 40 of county music you can find real stuff. Country music tells real stories of heartbreak, addiction(its harder than you think), love lost, and many other things. Like this song Same song covered but well done
  11. Worked exceptionally well. I am now clog free. Thanks for the video.
  12. Gary Allan is one of those artists that you listen to the whole album because songs like this get overlooked
  13. Wife grew up with vegetarians and never had wings before me. Started out with boneless then moved up to actual wings. Works out pretty good because I prefer wingettes and she likes the flats. She did start out eating them like a savage like this though.
  14. @btownqb Thought you might enjoy this. I seem to remember you mentioning boneless wings are chicken nuggets before.
  15. It is an effective way to hide a butterface.
  16. Found this study done in France back in April. Link On the basis of this data, we can deduce that with our system, patients with Ct values equal or above 34 do not excrete infectious viral particles. It was observed that SARS-CoV-2 was detected up to 20 days after onset of symptoms by PCR in infected patients but that the virus could not be isolated after day 8 in spite of ongoing high viral loads of approximately 105 RNA copies/mL of sample, using the RT-PCR system used in the present study [14].
  17. Divorce rates skyrocket Looks like plenty out there to choose from.
  18. I do PCR at work everyday. A 5 micro liter sample of enrichment (less volume than the tip of a ball point pen) will produce detectable levels of bacteria at 40 cycles. And with the CDC recently saying detectable levels of virus can found up to 3 months old, I wonder how many of these positives are active cases.
  19. Definitely a good thing. College shouldn't be easy and way too many worthless degrees. My intro to Biology class was a 100 level class that was intended to weed out the non hackers. 200+ at the beginning maybe 30 of is moved on. Most of the quitters went to liberal arts or business majors. Art and art history, music, English!! (We all speak it), are things you can teach yourself for free.
