I noticed this as well on the bench. Fife just did not seemed engaged with the players or “into it” a lot of times when they showed him during games. Could just be a weird sample size, but it was striking to me watching. Maybe it was on him, maybe Woodson just didn’t gel w/ him or try to include him. I wanted Fife to come join the staff for sure and loved him as a player, but people really seem to be pushing the “Fife is perfect, Woodson is bad” angle hard w/o a lot of actual information.

Was pretty upset last night during and after the game. Called the team weak and then WEAK in all caps. Feel kind of bad about that, when it was clear they were gassed. Excited to see what the next team looks like and believe that Woodson and his staff are the real deal. NCAAT in the first year is a good start.

This team is weak. It’s either that or you win. It’s clearly not the latter, so this team is WEAK. I think we have the right coach for the most part, but we need a major upgrade in personnel. Like we need fu*&ing monsters on this team to destroy anyone they come up against. I’m sick of wondering if we have the firepower to come back. It should be a given. Is it or is it not IU?

I normally do this, but not going to root for Michigan or MSU. MI b/c they really shouldn’t be in the tournament and MSU - b/c Izzo. I think Iowa will do well, Purdue will underwhelm as usual, and Illinois will win a few. I think we will beat St. Marys and UCLA.

We ALWAYS have our cocktail hour around 5pm. Which entails a couple cocktails and a few albums. This normally leads me well into TV time and then sleep. But these late games are a killer. Had my large Manhattan, but have held off since, b/c I want to have a beer or two during the game and still remember it.

I had Sling but it doesn’t include CBS. So had to download Youtube TV. You’ll need this as we win more games and are featured on CBS.

Getting pretty psyched about this one. Would normally tape a 9:10 start, but it’s the tournament, so will watch live. Have to go in for some in person meetings tomorrow, so will be an early morning, but hoping to be running high on an IU tournament win.

Was a little pissed at our having to play in Dayton, but now we only have to worry about winning. No hand-wringing about other teams taking our spot. Just freaking win and advance. If we play our game and hit some threes, I like our chances against anyone in the field. We do need someone not named X to hit some threes.
