  1. Same here. Even when a couple of our sports teams had cases this fall, it was kids on those teams that attended an event unrelated to school that contracted the virus.
  2. Indiana reported more new cases today than California.
  3. 5,007 new cases in Indiana reported today. https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/
  4. Never made that connection. Very surprising.
  5. A mouse. However, we're planning on having him put down.
  6. If I could turn back time.......I would take steps to ensure this song was never recorded.
  7. The news about Colonial Crester has put me in a reflective mood. I lost my dad way too soon many years ago (he was 45). This was his favorite gospel song and we played it at his funeral (not the Alan Jackson version though).
  8. When I was a kid and a younger adult, I loved Thanksgiving. Both my mom and dad were from large families. My mom's family always got together on the Holidays. I would play hours of cards and watch football with more cousins, uncles, and aunts than you could count. The food/meal has never been the 'best' thing about Thanksgiving for me. It was always the coming together of family. Now that a lot of the older generation has passed and many of the younger generation has spread out, it's just not the same anymore. Would much prefer to just be home with the wife and kids, which is what we are doing this year. A couple of years ago, we did Disney over Thanksgiving and that was very nice as well.
  9. Very concerned that extended family gatherings for Thanksgiving will cause a major spike. My extended family is having one, but my wife, kids, and I will not be attending.
  10. Did not realize you were a coach. What sport?
  11. Was standing in line to vote today and some guy behind me was telling his friend "at the end of the week, we won't have to wear masks any longer." A lot of the things around the virus are political. But, the virus itself is real and we should change our behavior until a vaccine is available.
  12. Covid related hospitalizations at an all-time high in Indiana.
  13. Mexico cases peaked in late July / early August, dropped, and are increasing slightly again. Nothing like the surge in the U.S. though. Don't really know much about Central America, and would probably question the validity of their numbers anyway.
  14. Definitely seems to be some seasonality to this. While cases are spiking in the Northern Hemisphere heading into winter, they are dropping in the Southern Hemisphere as they are in mid-spring, headed to summer.
  15. I'm not getting the Colts broadcast. Is J. Taylor hurt? I can see from the box, he's not doing much, but seeing from the box Wilkins start the second half in get the most of the reps concerns me.,
  16. Indiana shatters it's single day new cases number with over 3.600 reported today. Not good news for the high school basketball season.
  17. Study indicates immunity may last for several months. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/29/health/covid-immunity-lingers-months-wellness/index.html
  18. Saw this video tonight and thought 'Damn, Phil Collins looks just like Archie in this video during the close-up shots of his face.
  19. As much of the country surges, Louisiana is not. Interesting because they got hit hard in the initial April surge and were hit especially hard in the July/August surge. Yet, now, in the October surge, their number of cases and deaths is remaining steady. Now, does it mean anything? Maybe, maybe not. But worth keeping an eye on. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/louisiana/
  20. The Pacers should trade Victor Oladipo Domantas Sabonis to the Clippers for Paul George
  21. Flossing can cause COVID. And if you bleed to death from cutting your gums while flossing, it gets recorded as a COVID death.
