Seeking6
Justin Steele first game back and pitches almost 5 innings of scoreless ball. Leaves game up 3-0. Up next our bullpen....Cubs blow another one. Rinse, wash, repeat. 8 blown saves.

JMHO, but the Cubs may have to make a decision to deal some of their young talent for proven bullpen help.

I'll do anything at this point. I know I've been a broken record but between Hendricks and Bullpen the Cubs have given away 12 losses. Even if we give 4-5 of those back we should still be 12 over .500 I'll also add I don't know where his arm is at or endurance but I'd take a look at Trevor Bauer for either relief or spot starts when schedule backs up. You are starting to sound like Scott! lol I don't know where MLB and Bauer are either. I would sign him if I was a GM.
btownqb
Crazy how much better the Reds lineup looks with TJ Friedl back.. not sure it fixes everything, by any means, but solid piece to get back...

But still, bullpen needs to be better of course.
IU Scott
Reds are being shutout once again down 2-0 in the top of the 6th and Reds have 1 hit. This is the most anemic offensive stretch I can remember a Reds team going through.
IU Scott
Montas had pitched a pretty good game 6IP 2 runs 87 pitches but took him out. The bullpen has given up 4 runs in .1 innings and now down 6-0. The Refs in the past 4 games has scored 2 runs so I doubt they will have a chance to comeback.

Proud2BAHoosier
Through 6 innings the Yankees are beating the Arse-Stroles, 7-0! Yanks pitcher, Luis Gil has only given up 1 hit, while Verlander got rocked for 7 earned runs!! Have I said how much I dislike Verlander??? Newly acquired during the off season, Alex Verdugo took Verlander deep for a 3 run shot and later made a spectacular diving catch! Plus the O's were losing in the 8th inning too... How sweet it is!! Go Yankees!!
