Memorial-Jasper, who knows how this one will go. I’m guessing Jasper wins it by 10+, but I’ve heard they were very sloppy in their 41-24 win against Bosse

Jasper didn’t look the best in this game, Memorial sludges one out from Jerry Brewer Alumni Stadium, 17-14.

Reitz at Memorial for the Sectional Championship next Friday. QB1 for Memorial is semi-back

That is gonna be one tall task, Reitz seems to be running on all strides.

Meanwhile, it looks like it will be a rematch between North and Castle. The Knights could be looking for some redemption to take care of an early season loss to the Huskies....

Reitz really, really wants this sectional championship badly as they get to host the Regional against East Central. Those Panthers on the west side wants to make a statement after last year’s quick exit. Plus the seniors on the team would like go out big too, since like 80% of their starters are 2-3 year guys.

A Memorial loss will drop the Tigers back down to 3A for the 2024 season. Next season should be interesting if that happens, as the Tigers return 16-17 starters

Dwenger loses to Leo.

Luers blasts Manchester

Snider pounds FW North Side.

Warsaw throttled by Penn

Bluffton kills Eastside

And, in the most predictable outcome. Adams Central keeps on rolling. 52-14 over Madison-Grant.

An homage to every local sports writer who has to use as many verbs as possible to describe the outcomes of the games

I got quite a few relatives that are utterly disappointed by being throttled by Penn.

And Congrats @TheWatShot

Our game with 2A #1 Triton Central on last Friday was one of the best HS football games I have been to. So well-played, and so well-coached. Starting six sophomores defensively we were worried going against TC's experience and their D1 QB... we battled.

Long story short.... The game was 0-0 until under 5 mins to go in the 3rd....

we led 17-14 with 1:30mins to go in the game and had Triton 3rd and 15.

No regrets, but that game never should have happened in round 2. Hope they can get the sectionals done correctly this go around in the spring. We were a Top 5 team all year and expect to be there the next 2 years, as well.
