Indiana currently ranks as the 14th best recruiting class in the country with its 3 man class of Tucker, Rice and Ballo. They currently have the 2nd ranked transfer class in the country with Rice and Ballo.

If they add Carlyle as expected, they will have the 8th ranked overall class, and the top transfer class nationally.

Not sure why Purdue & Rutgers are ranked that high

IU & Illini are bringing in 2-3 good starters each

Purdue has 1-2 redshirts and no starters unless Catchings is HIM

Will be surprised if freshman play more than 25 minutes a game

Still think freshman starters in the Covid era are a tough ask

Class size factors in.

Hell I didn’t even know that. 😂

JHS, Ware, Reneau, MM and Tucker, right?

It just goes to show you that those rankings are a joke beyond the top 20-30 players

I think they count Ballo as the highest rated transfer

MR just missed 5 star ?

In the last 3 years there have been 9 five star players enter the Big Ten…..IU has 5 of them

With little to show for it. Imo if you have a talented freshman it’s getting that second year out of them imo that’s key. Like imagine last year with JHS running the point with pick n roll with Ware.  Imagine Romeo a couple years ago coming back and playing with Trayce. Its stacking classes that makes the difference. So hopefully Mgbako has a huge year.

Also…not all 5* are created equal…from position to position and also from year to year some classes and guys are more difference makers.

💯

Purdue & IU coaches thought they would have Ivey & JHS at least another year maybe two

Did MM go through draft process to get feedback?   Actually like it when guys do this….better than listening to “handlers” or coaches .  Plus as a competitor why not see where you stack up?

I don't believe he did.  He announced pretty quick that he was coming back.  No need to go through the process if you know you're not ready.

It’s a crappy draft…why not meet & greet get up some jumpers

He could go Supernova this year.

Big Ten leading scorer

O/U 18.5

The other thing about a 5* is they can have empty stats…or not add winning to a team if they are out there to just get drafted and not about the team. We’ve had a couple at IU…lord knows Ivey was that at Purdue.
