The next step up for IUWBB requires them to add the size and skill on par with SC, LSU, and UConn. They need multiple M Holmes level talents.

I dont think CTM has recruited to the level of one of the TOP womens programs. Has done well in the portal.

Teri Moren gets another from the portal. This looks to be her Sara Scalia, 39% career shooter from 3, on over 5 attempts per game. Honorable Mention All Big Ten last season a sophomore.

Another Big portal get.

I saw Coach on the back of a cart last week with an African American Family. I wish i knew who the player was. First time I've ever seen the head coach sitting on the back with a player by the way, From any sport.

It appears CTM is staying with her approach.... 3 point shooters. I think it's great. Big portal gets. We will be good. the question becomes can we compete with the big athletic girls with the likes of South Carolina and upper echelon teams?

Speaking of Caitlin Clark, Greg Doyle is a tool who is getting national attention for the wrong reason.

Bob Kravitz reporting Doyel received a two week suspension, and won't be attending any Fever games this year.

Seems legally actionable to share this information.

I guess I'm old but beyond awkward and a little cringy, I guess I'm missing the infraction here.  Maybe there was more said than I'm aware of...

Woke culture. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nothing "woke" in expecting an employee representing your institution to behave professionally in a professional setting. Doyel's actions at that press conference fell well short of that.

Wasn't sure where to throw this in but a couple things. Went down to the Fever game last night. First off...what a crowd. I remember the past couple of summers where you could get Fever tickets just by walking outside. Place was packed and very loud. Thought the place was going to explode when CC hit the 33 feet shot to take the lead. Even in defeat quite an improvement from last week.

To keep this in line though with IUWBB. I have no clue why Grace Berger isn't seeing the floor. That seemed to be a general consensus of those around us at game that know the WNBA game far better than us.

Would strongly recommend taking in a game if you can.

The way the Fever operate, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see Grace playing for a different team next season. Not saying it will happen, but the Fever give up on players very quickly if they aren't producing. It would be great for Indiana if the Fever became relevant again and an IU alum was part of it, but the post-Tamika Catchings era has just killed that organization. The last seven years have been nothing but losing, wasted draft picks and coaching changes. At least people are going to games again. I hope they don't get frustrated and give up.

I won't be surpised if they fire this coach if they can't win with CC bringing so much attention to the team

Thanks for follow up. I'm new to the Fever and don't have much to go on so I won't question everything but Grace not seeing the floor to me is just dumb.

This is for IU Scott:

But of a change to the shooting drills, emphasizing long 2-pointers first. Christie Sides has said she wants her team, specifically Caitlin Clark, to get more comfortable in the mid-range.

Saw a post somewhere else a few days ago referencing this and it kind of reminded me of Mike Woodson:
