IndyHoosier
Malik and Ware have found something. Mgbako woke up, nice to see. Better without Johnson. Shocked Gunn didn’t play more. Team might be gelling a bit? Good win, get healthy for Friday.
Seeking6
Forming our base. Malik, Ware, and Mack. Need X and Trey to pick things up in time and we'll be just fine down the road. Love Walker and Banks off the bench and what they are bringing. PS. Harvard is another tourney team.
NCHoosier32
still love the talent on this team. my son insists we're better without X on the floor.

Parakeet Jones
I think that I think that we played our best basketball of the season during stretches of that game. I worry about games where we can’t dominate the paint. It was nice to see MM have a nice night offensively.

NCHoosier32
as long as we win i'm happy. that said, winning on the road in conference is really tough and a lot of teams in conference are better than Harvard.
bluegrassIU
A long way to go, but I still see us improving as we go. Mgbako career high, Ware career high. Walker and Banks both giving much more valuable minutes than they were a few games ago. The improvement in those 4 alone reaffirm my thoughts we are going to have a ton of ugly moments. But will improve incrementally and be a pretty darn good team as the season goes on. Cautiously optimisitc.
Muddy River
Can you imagine this board if CMW had offered a 6’ 1” 3 star guard out of DC??

I actually am going the other way. I think as vets they are letting the new guys develop their confidence knowing full well their time will come. Seems smart to me by both Trey and X. Hoosier987
Improvement but ways to go on perimeter play. Galloway with some serious bricks. 3

IU Scott
We have a front court to compete but not the guard play. I keep harping on it but Galloway isn't a power 5 conference starter but a 6-7 in the rotation guy. If and that is a big if that if we can get better defensively this could be a tough team.

He won’t be able to get his shot off. and my personal favorite, 3 star guards grow on trees in Indiana. That kid has stones. I’ll be rooting for him going forward. Someone will offer him big NIL $$$$ next year.

Rev_AK
Happy with the win, and happy to see Leal get some run. I feel he may be the safer bet vs Gunn at the moment. I’d love to steal one or more of these next 4

I don't think those are all apples to apples. It's early. Teams are still learning themselves. Conference games lead to much deeper scouting, different rotations etc. I just look at this as a solid win against a solid opponent. Take the win, learn from the plenty of mistakes and get better.
