LA is an embarrassment to the Rams. Having to go to silent counts when you have a home game is unacceptable. Stafford got beat up today, because of a porous O-line, but also due to the noise that the Cowboy fans created.

Beautiful stadium, Super Bowl champs. Pathetic fan base. Shame on you, SoCal residents. The team deserves better.

Eagles fans were louder than Cardinal fans in Arizona.

49ers fans actually outnumbered Panther fans in Charlotte.

Got it. But when your team is the defending SB Champions, don’t you think that there would be better support?

Maybe their owner shouldn’t have moved them from St Louis….or maybe they shouldn’t have left LA the first time.  Takes a long time to build a fan base. Doesn’t happen overnight. Heck same thing happens in Las Vegas. LA, Arizona, LV, Miami, will always be road trip destinations for divisional rivals etc. Tons of flights in…and great vacation destinations. You can buy a title but you can’t buy fans so easily…takes time and commitment to the community long term.

Agree on the never should have left St. Louis comment. Feel like the league had something to do with that decision

Oh no doubt they let that happen. Can’t miss out on that TV revenue. College isn’t the only ones sacrificing fans for $$.

@IU Scottcan add Zac Taylor to his stupid coach list.  1st and goal from the 2.  Don't even try a run.

  • Incomplete pass
  • Attempt a trick WR pass that loses 13 yards
  • Completion to get it back to the 2
  • Forego the tying field goal and run a botched shovel pass that had no chance on 4th down.

RUN THE BALL ON FIRST AND GOAL FROM THE TWO!!!!!

And, it cost the Bengals the game.  Kick a field goal and the Ravens can't win it with a field goal.

Justin Tucker is overrated.

There really wasn't a need to even go through the exercise of kicking it.  If the ravens get to the 40-yard line in that situation, treat it like an intentional walk in baseball.  Give them the 3 points and call it a day.

I see that a lot of Bengal fans on the RedsZone have not been a fan of Zac's all year.

Lol the guy goes to the SB with an incomplete roster... but hell, I'm definitely sure those guys on that forum know what they're talking about!

Analytics alert: seeing some bizarrely timed 2 point conversion attempts today. The Falcons went for 2 and got it to pull within 21-15 of the Bucs. The Seahawks scored to make it 31-25 and went for 2 but failed. Guarantee those coaches had stat geeks telling them to do that.

The Falcons decision is a no brainer. If you make the first one, then a TD wins. If you  miss the first, you still get a second attempt if you score another TD. This isn’t a stat geek thing, it’s common sense that coaches ignored for years.

Plus... the Falcons have zero interest in OT vs Brady. They're trying to win the game in regulation.

The approach he took on the goal to go series I outlined in the post I'm quoting was highly questionable.  And, in the end, it cost the Bengals the game.

What he was able to do last season was great, but this is this year.  The offense is struggling a bit and the things that worked so well in the playoff run last season are not working well now.

At what point in Football history did we determine it was easier to get 2 yards by passing 4 times versus at least trying to run the ball?

If a team is unable to run straight ahead for 2 yards over the course of 4 tries, you, better than anyone else,  knows how effective well designed run plays with misdirection built-in can be.  The high school team you coach is fantastic at that.

What Branden Staley did in the Chargers/Browns game was dumb as well, but he got bailed out by a missed FG.
