Long way to go, but they have righted the ship and gotten this team locked on and focused. He also called great timeouts tonight and managed the bench perfectly. If we play with this effort the rest of the year we should be in great shape. I give Woodson a lot of credit tonight and it started with his timeout when we got down 4-0. Bustout Posted January 20, 2023 Report Share Posted January 20, 2023 TJD, Galloway, and JHS were spectacular tonight, but how Geronimo has filled in for Race these last two games has changed the dynamic of this team. He was struggling early and has taken an absolute 180. I love Race and appreciate all he’s done, but JG is playing well for him right now. KDB Posted January 20, 2023 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2023 Just a huge win for the trajectory of this season. We go on the road and beat an Illinois team on a 4 game win streak by 15. Unreal performance from TJD - need to enjoy all of the little time we have left with him. All-timer. JHS is so special. He has some of the best vision and feel for the game I have seen from a freshman. Props to Coach Woodson and staff for getting this turned around. The all around effort has been so much improved the past 2 games. Great opportunity to get a nice win streak going now.. Beat Michigan State.
