HoosierFaithful
We have a lot of heat-resistant outdoor plants that couldn't handle this recent west coast heat wave. Going to enjoy the $ to replace those 1
TheWatShot
Made it up to 90 degrees today, with a heat index of 103, humidity in the 80's and a dew point of 78. No heat advisory issued. I'm certain we've had heat advisories in the past when the numbers were lower than this.

They bought a fixer upper years ago and just enjoy the break. Heat doesn't bother me. Never has....but these temps my heart just breaks for the seniors or animals or people who don't have AC. 1

TheWatShot
We haven't had a thunderstorm since September 26th, and have had only 2 days with thunder since August 17th. Kind of depressing to think I may have to wait until next spring to hear thunder again.
