This was pretty funny

Dude is a boot-licking farce of a human being, but I love this. It’s an old, but amazing tactic to use against these polluters.

There’s a great clip from a few years with farmers at a meeting with fracking companies and the farmer is at the table pouring the murky water for the natural gas a#$holes.

Found it:

“[W]hile playing blackjack, Decedent’s hand began convulsing, at which point, he collapsed and became slumped over on the blackjack table with his head down,” the complaint says. After that, the complaint continues, as Jagolinzer “was slumped over on the blackjack table,” the Wynn’s dealer “continued to deal cards to another player at the table and continued to play blackjack.”

This went on for several minutes, according to the lawsuit.

“[S]ecurity employees for Defendant Wynn were able to observe on the live security footage both the medical episode of Decedent and his unconscious state at the table for over 20 minutes and did nothing to attend the Decedent,” the complaint says.

Can’t imagine how many passed out drunks that guy probably witnesses on a daily basis. That said that is a pretty sorry excuse for not checking on the guy.

I would like to see us move to a lottery system for elected officials.

I want people to walk out to their mailbox and say "God@mm!t...those bastards made me a senator." You do 2 years "public service" and never again.

Oh, and presidents are elected by being caller #9 to a classic rock radio station and answering a trivia question correctly.

If they knew he was a lawyer they were probably afraid of a lawsuit.

Years ago I started keeping a trauma kit in my car.  Came across an accident once and gave the people a couple battle dressings and they just stood there. I said I'll tell you how to use it but I'm not touching you. If you aren't trained and mess somebody up they can sue you.

That’s why I don’t keep up with my CPR training. That and anymore if someone needs CPR it’ll probably be me!

Did the SOB have a winning hand or not? That's all that is really important. He went out loving what he was doing. Can't ask more than that!

Ever done CPR on someone who wasn't totally "healed" from open heart surgery? It'll curl your toes. Snap crackle pop. Like pushing down on a bag of popcorn. The feeling never leaves you... since that was 25+ yrs ago, I can honestly say, it never leaves you.

Not exactly the same scenario as you but I used to work at a funeral home for 12 years as an assistant to the director. I feel for the "it never leaves you" situation.  It's been almost 10 years and I still have some images in my head that's not pleasant. 😰

No, but I have felt that crack when giving CPR back in the ER/ward days in the Navy. There weren’t many of us enlisted on the wards or in ER they trusted to be fully on duty, but then they did trust you, the doctors (who were playing cards or fairly drunk) would trust us with a lot of things that they probably should have been doing.

Honestly, I felt like we were more caring and thoughtful, b/c we didn’t want to screw anything up. I had to do my first intubation one night at 4am, when I had just crashed after a night of bar hopping. I sobered up damn quick for that, and somehow got the trach tube in on the first try. Was a young woman and I was terrified I would mess up. The anesthesiologist was screaming at me, b/c he was still pissed that he wasn’t able to get the IV in.

My specialty at the time was doing IVs for surgery - newborns, old people, anyone. M-F at 5am, I was the dude starting IVs for all of the surgery patients. I was the person who taught the new nurses how to do IVs on real people. I gave them two tries on the patient, and then took over. Then I let them practice on me, with a little local Lidocaine to numb their incompetent stabbing.

This is the 2nd suicide in recent weeks by kids because of bullying in Indiana. These sorts of stories just tear at the heart. Just like a lot of things it's getting worse not better.

Being a kid is hard enough in Jr High/High School. Dealing with this stuff each day? Plenty of shame to go around. I do like the part where this bill apparently says if a kid if is bullying others and it's proved to be true they would be forced to go to another school.

Such a tragic story.  A family down in this part of the state lost a daughter last year in a similar type of story.

Social media gives bullies a very powerful platform and has made things even worse.

And, to add to the problem, the parents of the bullies often take no action or even downplay their kid's involvement.

The last sentence to me is the biggest issue. Look as parents everyone thinks their kids are perfect. Human nature....but those kids are learning something at home and taking it to school.

My wife had a case here locally years ago. The depths of which some of these schools go in to deny their responsibility is just sickening. I'm all for any punishment including making the kids go to another school and honestly damages from school and parents of kids involved. Unfortunately the only way sometimes to make real change in policies is to hit the people in their pocket books.

I was an overweight kid. Not fat but not skinny. Nobody knows the depths of that pain when you go home. Maybe that's why this story hits home more. Small town kid who just happened to be overweight and he kills himself. Still makes me sick inside.

Wish you trained the nurses who IV'd me when I had my reconstructive jaw surgery.  They collapsed all the veins in my right hand and took 3 tries on the left. I think that was the worst of it all.

I was made fun of quite a bit. Well for awhile anyway. I was fortunate to be bigger than most and when I figured out that it doesn't go on your permanent record I put an end to most of it.

As far as another school it's a good start but they'd probably do it there too. Maybe bring back state reform schools.  I'm mostly against state intervention but parents are failing at instilling discipline and the golden rule so tough, somebody has to do it. I'm sure there are plenty of unemployed or retired drill instructors.

I was never a DI (it TI... Training Instructor as we called them in the USAF) but I remember all of the cadence songs 🙂

It’s definitely a skill you develop. I also think I’ve always beeb pretty empathetic, which I think made me more careful and considerate about the pain of others. They were already nervous b/c of surgery, so I always took the time to speak to them and distract them while I worked. My wife has the worst time EVERY time. It usually takes at least 3 or 4 times and leads to bruising.

Look at what the city of San Francisco wants to give Black people in repatriation of slaves.

Over 70% of lottery winners and retired professional athletes end up broke within a few years.  How would this be any different?  These idiots lack critical thinking skills. Or thinking or skills period.

It's beyond ignorant for so many reasons.

Any teachers on here? Had some friends in town and were out for dinner last night. She's a teacher in NW Suburbs of Chicago. Anyway their school district allows the students to take an exam up to 3x before final grade given.

Admittedly I was like what is that? She said most of the kids get the exam, study all the questions on it...know they get another two cracks at it and go from there. Something to do with Math Science scores/grades,etc....and the importance to the school district?

I never heard of anything like this before and was curious if any other teachers hear of stuff like this.
