If nobody has looked at forecast for tomorrow night in Jags/Jets game I'd suggest checking it out. He can still not play Wilson and pick up a guy like Ridder or whomever but if someone playing for personal pride (while I like that) picks up Ridder before tomorrow night he's kind of screwed. dgambill Posted December 21, 2022 Report Share Posted December 21, 2022 So last year I wanted to start a dynasty HSN league because how competitive our league is…I’ll say it now while interest is still high…anyone willing to do it I would be happy to set one up or join one. Good luck in the playoffs everyone. By far my worst year fantasy…just crazy bad luck…where I faced wrong guys at the wrong time etc. there was some really huge scoring weeks this year for one or two guys that would always sink me…for example just got knocked out of playoffs by Jerrick McKinnon who in back to back weeks killed me in multiple leagues…I mean the balls to sit guys like Chubb and Kamara and start him…smh. This stuff happened to me all season. Well I knew I wasn’t winning anything when I had Javonte Williams in the second rd of basically all my leagues get hurt. Him and Eli Mitchell. After that Russell Wilson sucking killed me along with the spill over effect to Cortland Sutton. I had Herbert in a couple leagues too…he had a down year as well. So no one to blame but myself. I feel good about my Dynasty leagues long term as I selected a lot of younger talent so should play out well long term. They just take so much wear and tear. Can’t make it through the season. Guys that have been studs like Pierce and Hall and Chubb etc are worn out or hurt by playoff time. Now the funny part about that is KC playing in zero degree temps this week, Raiders at Pitt,etc....somehow I just know all these regular season teams that have played well all year are going to fall on their face this weekend. Before heading out to Church I was thinking about if I wanted to be one of those really petty fantasy football players. I could say something like I've lapped the league all year long, went Secretariat on the field...after scoring 200-300 more points than most who made playoffs, etc....but thought boy I don't want to be one of those losers. I figured, what the hell, just pick up Minshew instead of one of teh scrub starters who have been crappy all year. Gave me 31.7 points despite 3 turnovers. I didn’t play DeVonta Smith with Hurts out and of course he scored over 23. I am ahead by 1/2 point. He has Aaron Jones left and I have Godwin and the Bucs defense.
