Ok, first point of order… order that in a poster for my ceiling!!! Oh mercy

If you hooked up with Alanis, you'd be in that AMC Stubs A-list Unlimited Club before you can say Dave Coulier 🙂

You must already be drunk. All night long is by Lionel Richie, not Alanis Morissette. And completely different decades.

Totally different events happening all night long…

oh heck, whom I kidding… I’ve already needed a nap, like a male rabbit, just from the pic that Rico posted!! Lol

This rectified our defensive rebounding issues, imo.

Malik, MM make reasonable gains in that area and I expect it to be a strength... Rice avged 3+

💯 He’s a big dude with long arms

Guarded Zach pretty well

Not a great post up guy, shot blocker  or passer but will grab boards and defend…rim run

Forgot he redshirted at Gonzaga his first year….6th year player!  Man Strength

Is he the best big man in the Big Ten?

Maryland big coming back?
Queen will struggle with his physicality

You probably still need a 10-15 minute center to back him up….

Great get 👍👍

Prefer either a stretch 4 or athletic 5…don’t need another bruiser or post up big. Just an energy guy or someone who can play at the 4 but step outside and knock down a shot.

Is this guy as good as Ware? (probably not)

So we're now gonna see 2 bigs playing together again, "inside (and hopefully) out". I'll believe it when I see a 4 out 1 in game with 3 shooters on the perimeter. (from IU that is)

So far I'm under whelmed with the committed recruits. Not a huge step forward IMO. If MM gets hurt we got NO shooters on the perimeter.

Cupps: No.     Gallo: No.      Newton: Unknown.     Rice: Not any better than Gallo.

You guys can celebrate all you want. Good for you. But I'm with-holding my excitement until I see the product on the floor.

You are completely discounting our long and storied history of our guys developing as shooters…...  :coffee:

Haha but is it popular with the college girls or something?

It’s just one of the more popular and semi iconic bars.

Nicks, Kilroys, upstairs, blue bird, the vid, etc are all more locally owned (at least originally) and synonymous with IU.

upstairs is basically across the street from Nicks.

All you guys make good points. No doubt the recruits we've got committed are talented. But talent doesn't equate to winning.

I've been listening to Rabjohns on a podcast and he's saying IU's still going after yet another, big man. that would give us 3 bigs. All talented, all productive, but if don't have anybody that can stretch the floor, defenses will just clog the lane.

It's nice to see all you guys saying I'm wrong. Honestly hope you're right. But jury is still out for me on how productive and wins we get next year.

This is where I am. I’ll be extremely disappointed and angry if we don’t snag a couple sharpshooters. I have no faith next season will be much better without a couple. We’ve seen this story every year recently. The pickups so far are great and I’m happy with them, but for crying out loud FIND US A REAL SHOOTER OR TWO!!

And to me it seems we haven't improved out permiter defense.

That's the thing. We actually shot it pretty well in TJD's last year, over 36% as a team, 48th in the country. In conference play we were even better: 38% and 3rd in the Big Ten. The problem is we were dead last in the conference in attempts, and 352nd overall in 3PA per game. Volume is going to be as important as percentage.
