Time will tell. The guy can win and build a program. He also, unlike Harsin, knows the south.  Keeping  Cadillac was huge, and he won over the fans with his presser. All that being said, you have to win big and beat Bama in order to be viewed as successful.

Hopefully either he leaves the escort services alone or smart enough to have a grad assistant make those calls and the threatening calls to potential witnesses for him this time.

Absolutely agree. My assessment is based on football alone, not personal behavior. Hopefully he has learned from past sins as he stated in his presser. Time will tell on both fronts.

I guess, I know that any remaining interest I had in Auburn football was killed the moment they hired him. I really don't think I'm the only person who is extremely put off by the hire - the fans he "won" over that I know mostly would have been won over and optimistic leaving the press conference for a steaming turd.

But sure, if hiring a guy with a below .500 conference record (factoring in his vacated wins, it's really ugly if you don't include the wins he cheated for) that is a trash human is a good hire, then good for Auburn. I'll be happy for my dad when he gives me his weekly run down of Auburn football and proceeds to get angry when I remind him every week Hugh Freeze is a piece of garbage.

He very evidently hasn't learned from past sins. He was harassing SA victims on Twitter and showed no remorse until he got the Auburn job.

And Auburn was so confident in his remorse that they contractual banned him from social media. He is garbage.

Utah is pouring it on USC and will win the Pac 13. Utah offensive line is so dominant and it amazes me how good of a program they have but. Before Urban Meyer I don't remember hearing about Utah football. Besides getting Urban Meyer what did the university do to get to where they are a top football program.

Man I love me some Prime but this is a headscratcher. I would think if he had another year of success more fertile recruiting area type job would open. Or maybe just the opposite. He's been told that this is as good as it's going to get.

Really excited for this hire for Colorado, mainly because my nephew is a recent grad and covers all of the schools sports for their USA Today affiliate.

He wrote this article on fhe hote. This is going to be an amazing experience for him.

Proud uncle!

Maybe Sanders partakes of the herb?  In which case, Colorado would be his dream job.

His name was thrown around only briefly down here. Many thought Georgia Tech would be the perfect spot with his history there with the Falcolns and Braves, recruiting base, urban demographics,  and media spotlight. I wonder if the academic side of Georgia Tech wouldn't have worked with his recruiting philosophy?
