Transfers with IU Interest

He is big and strong, probably appealing to cmw. His scoring and rebounding production is about 2x of Race.

Well, it probably wouldn't have been if he was playing next to TJD.

Put Race on Wyoming and I have to think he would have scored more than playing batman to TJDs Robin.

Not diminishing this guy at all, just pointing that out.

Nice list with IU interest players, which TheDailyHoosier will update as new names come in.  Good site to watch.

For the rumor mill, it also includes the mysterious:

  • Ivy League player who could enter the portal
  • Ivy League player who could enter the portal
  • Big East player who could enter the portal
  • Big Ten player who could enter the portal
  • ACC player who could enter the portal

Peyton Sparks is a name to track going forward. I originally didn’t expect IU to pursue him but that seems to have changed.

I have mixed feelings on this one. He majorly changed his body at Ball State. Maybe clif can make him look like Bobby Lashley.

might be suitable as a big 10 big…a banger and rebounder

might see 8 mins a game?

What are all the important dates IU needs to consider when finalizing the scholarship roster?

Last day to enter the portal?

Last day to declare for NBA draft?

Last day to remove name from NBA draft?

Is there such a thing as a last day for portal players to return to previous school?

115-219 on FTs this year.

Glass half full:  He gets to the line a lot.

Glass half empty:  If he's the one shooting, who do we have to rebound his miss?

Glass half full:  He can get opposing bigs in foul trouble.

Glass half empty:  If he made 100 in a row, that only brings his average up to 67.398%

I see him being a bench big if he ended up at IU

Adam Zagoria tweeted that IU has reached out to Joe Girard from Syracuse. I’ll add him to the list in my original post.

“During his four seasons with the Orange, JGIII was best known for his 3-point shooting, knocking down over 40% in his junior year and 38% as a senior. However, his subpar defense and tendency to play “hero ball” made him a polarizing figure among the Syracuse fanbase.”

Subpar defender on a zone team

Sorry, I just think that would be settling for the low hanging fruit. There are better options out there and patience is key

As a starter, I agree. But there are very few transfers that will willingly come in as bench players

I know we are looking at the guy from Harvard, but there are a couple of Princeton guys I would really consider as well

Evbuomwan is a senior and the Ivy League doesn’t allow a fifth year, so if he wants to continue playing college ball……..
