Tennessee has nothing for them they’ve already shown that this year and Duke Nc St don’t have the size. Hard to decide who to root for. UConn who is replacing us as a blue blood or Purdue who will make this board insufferable. I have to say probably Purdue though…that should be the slap in the face the university needs to wake up and right the ship and stop allowing them to own the state and our players. No, there are a few teams out there that can give them a run. The announcers are getting carried away with, " Can anyone stop UConn". It's obvious, that the Iowa State game took it all out of them. While UConn had it easy against SDSU.
MrsStoller
In think Illinois’ FG % is around 10%. 😳
Seeking6
One of you folks have to know the answer. Is a 30-0 run ever happen in an E8 game?

If Illinois could hit a few shots, they would only be down 10-15. UConn's defense hasn't been amazing this game. It's just shameful shooting. UConn is certainly dissecting the Illini defense, but they look beatable to me.

I just think UConn offense is and ability to score 1-5 with their size is only team able to give Purdue problems…at least left in the tourney.

cthomas
I have to say that my hatred for all things Purdue is mitigated somewhat by the likeability of Coach Painter. From everything I've seen and heard from him, he is a first-class guy. I like the way he coaches, the way he builds teams, and the way he conducts himself in post game press conferences. That being said, I hope they lose the next game.
