This makes sense, and I don't blame him if so. You have a small window in life to play college basketball. If he was aware enough to see he may not get the time he wanted, I have no problem with him moving on. I don't know what Rick Barnes said to Ledlum to get what by all descriptions was an 11th hour coup for Tennessee over IU. But apparently the reality was different than the promises... One of the great things I heard in a post season interview with Jalen was that during his recruiting process, he'd asked a few of his friends who were already playing college basketball what to watch out for, and they told him what a coach or staff tells a kid during recruiting can be vastly different than the reality of playing for a coach... But Jalen said with Woody, it was nothing like that, and that the reality matched exactly what he'd been told... I know @Indykev said all coaches are BSers to some degree, and I'm sure he's right... But I think when it comes to the kids, Woody is about as straight of an arrow as you can get... And I really admire that...
